Is there a wire that I can build with that has a lower heat output than kathal? I'm a newb and just starting to build. The only thing I know is that I like a cool vape but I want something that will produce good clouds and flavor.
Different wire has different resistance values per mm... but, you can control coil temperature (heat flux) by either reducing wattage applied - or by using a thicker wire, or lower resistance... for the same wattage.

Click the first and second siglines below to learn how wire type and gauge, net resistance, number of coils in a parallel circuit, coil net surface area and applied wattage are all interdependent.

You lower the heat output by turning down the power and/or wrapping bigger coils for the same power.
The way wire reacts is a constant, to a degree the mod controls the way it acts

An example of control would be, first find a tank or atomizer known to run well at low power something like the Kayfun, wrap a high resistance coil, say 2 ohms and then power it with lower wattages 8-10 in this case.
