Oh perhaps it was? I honestly do not know. I just remember the thread and thought it might be helpful. Thank you for pointing that out. I still agree that Dekang should be contacted....They say they would want to know where the conterfiets are and who is selling them. Possible that would help them tract them to the source.

I had to reread that post to realize the OP was speaking of the original supplier of the juice he had that seemed bad and did in fact mention their name, esmokershop. My apologies for missing that...again...just trying to help.

SO how can 2 vendors having the same Dekang liquid have so different tasting stuff?

As it's been mentioned....the perfumy smelling/tasting stuff is not Dekang, it's a knockoff.

I've been offered bottles of liquid with the imprinted cap (probably not all that hard to fake), for almost half of what I'm paying for Dekang. I do a lot of research into what I carry....others may just jump at the cheaper unit cost.

I've never had a customer complaint about the flavor or odor of my liquid...and I use it all myself. Never had a nasty batch.

My guess, you got fake Dekang....or the stuff that's being sold has degraded due to light/heat exposure.

I did try contacting Dekang but also the shop where I spent the 40 bucks I was told it was in fact Dekang

The question to ask the shop where you spent your 40 bucks was "do you buy directly from Dekang or from a distributor? If from a distributor, who?". THEN ask Dekang if the shop or distributor is in fact a customer of theirs.
If the shop doesn't want to tell you then I wouldn't do business there again.

This was from the seller

I assure you that all of our juice is manufactured by Dekang and sold to us through Boge. (DK owns Boge) I'm definitely not trying to be hostile either, and I do appreciate the input. There is a new manufacturer stateside I've been hearing about, his costs are astronomically higher than the Chinese equivilaent but if the quality is there and I don't have to deal with US Customs again I may just start doing business with him. Still much research to be done.

I hope you do understand why we can't take open consumables back...that raises many health issue concerns. Our stuff is factory sealed in China and we keep it that way till it reaches the customer.

One interesting thing...our older labels which I think Vanilla has but Friskee doesn't, are the standard generic Boge labels that many other vendors have on their bottles. On our last reup we changed those labels to something I thought a little more original, but it is the same product.

So I guess that means either bad batch from Dekang or bad conditions

Sure, assuming the seller is giving you the straight scoop. Ask Dekang if the seller is indeed a customer of Dekang.

Also ask Dekang if they have any explanation of the dramatically different flavor between the two. You also should consider that the one you like is a knock off/counterfeit and the one you hate is genuine Dekang and tastes like they intended it to. Why would you assume that just because you don't like it that it must be bad?

Oh no I dont just assume because I dont like it that it is bad. I have alot of bottles sitting here waiting for PIF because I dont like them. This stuff is bad. Even the stuff I dont like produces vape does not taste like a perfumed chemical does not make me cough up stuff or cough at all. And I have gone through a lot of Dekang vanilla. I just noticed that certain suppliers have it different and they all say it is from Dekang so I was wondering what the deal was. But just for grins I will ask if the said company is indeed a supplier of theirs

This probably doesn't mean anything for your problem, since I personally believe you got some bad juice. But...all authentic Dekang is NOT the same....many suppliers have their own special recipes or just make special requests to tweak a flavor. And some others rebottle it after adding their own flavoring. So if you have found a supplier that has the stuff you like...probably want to stick with them even if you find what looks like the same flavor cheaper somewhere else.

Another to check is rather there is a lot number and experation date on the bottle. There should be those numbers...if there is not I would be leary.

I hope it works out for you...it really isn't cool to feel like you got ripped off. But it's just my experience that what happened to you is not the norm. Most suppliers...especially if you stick to ones off the ECF list bend over backwards to make things right. I can understand them not wanting the juice back...well no...actually I can't...they should have taken it back and checked it out themselves. Then given you a refund or exchange. But those guys are not an ECF approved supplier are they? I couldn't find them here anyway. Vapor Kings sells Dekang, have you tried them?

Hey, I just stumbled across this discussion and thought I'd chime in.

Everything we sell is genuine. Though it's not advertised anywhere that my liquid is Boge/DK it definitely is. Please feel free to contact Kris at sales@bogetech.com for verification.

We try to do right by everyone, but it's always been our policy to not accept returns on open consumables. I know doing so would please a few but do you really think its a good idea? I'd hate to think of unscrupulous suppliers reshipping juice.

My reason for posting this was since you do not accept returns on bad juice to warn anyone else until you guys get it straightened out. In fact if you need proof it is not just me, anyone who does a video review I will send you a sample of the liquids that I have and you guys can be the judge. It isnt bad just bad tasting liquid (although it does taste bad) it is bad liquid something is wrong with it. I did do a bunch of research though and heard that Dekangs president or whoever owned the recipes left and took them with him and that is why so many companies have such different tasting liquid. Who knows if that is true possibly they are trying to recreate. I dont know but I do feel that I wasted $40 and I felt you should should have heard me even if you did not refund and took it up with Dekang. I mean if a customer I had felt like liquid I sold made them feel bad, made them cough phlem, and had a chemical smell to it, did not produce vape, as well as extreme perfume (What is that smell by the way) why not get the liquid back and take it up with the manufacture and get the real reason.
