You've got the gyist of the nic issue. I prefer to use 60mg nic, simply because of it being slightly safer to store and use than 100mg. And I don't see anything wrong with using MFS, other than their prices.
I use 100 mg/ml and dilute to my preferred nic level. Some may avoid 100mg/ml as there is a safety learning curve which can be real concern with young children in the house. Others may not want to be bothered with the math to accurately dilute the nic. The EjuiceMe Up calculator takes all the guesswork out of getting the formulas correct.
MFS is a popular brand of nic. It is known to be peppery with throat hit. There has been some reported inconsistency from one batch to the next. I am at the opposite end of the nic spectrum as I want the nic to be invisible, smooth, no taste, no odor, no throat hit. I am using Xtreme vaping nic which is pricey.
