[FONT=Verdana, Arial]If you direct drip onto an atty with a certain flavor can you use other flavors later or will it always taste like that flavor?

Also what are the downsides to direct dripping? It seems that as long as you don't drip more than 3 drops this is waaay easier to deal with other than having to do it more often as opposed to using the cart.

Oh I am using a 510 if that makes any difference

510 dripper here :D
Some flavors will linger longer - I have a dedicated atty for all fruit flavors as they dont play well with others :) Things like cinamon flavors are the same (put aside an atty for things like that) everything else though goes straight on top - can take a couple of goes to get 'pure' flavor but it comes through fine.
I always blow out before a taste change (it helps) and blow out the empty cart / mouthpiece too cos juice can get stuck inside it.
I used to just use 3 attys;
fruit (all fruits they can get dripped on each other most of the time)
Atomic fireball (yeah that one did come out eventually but it lingers longest I found)
Everything else.

I have more now but still basically the same order of business. I use my fruit flavors in my manual, not my PT as well, because they seem to taste better not so hot as my PT makes the atty get. I've also discovered some nice combos dripping flavors on top of each other.
Downsides to direct dripping: flooding! Thata about it really - unless 'not convenient while driving' counts. I flood and blow out my attys a lot, they haven't siffered any ill effects yet and thats the extent of my cleaning unless theyve become really hard to draw on. In almost 4 months that's only been ONe atty and it seemed to recover after a hot rinse under running water and a 2 day dry.
