Well, you can use a carto on a bottom feeder, although I'm with you - it defeats the purpose of what the bottom feeder does - elimates any filler material - which for me, filler has always been a downside for taste.

That said.. there are specific cartos that are 'made for bottomfeeders' available at 'Vapage' that were made for the Vapage bottom feeders. The cartos are labeled 'Silos' and, in my experience, they don't work well in any other set up - although they evidently work well with the Vapage mod (Vmod II? iirc). The problem is, is that there are four air channels that, again, evidently, the work well with that mod, but end up being too 'airy' on other batts.

YET.... Vapage also has 'hybrid bottom feeder attys' and the one - 'gold universal' (available in various ohms) is one of the best 510 attys that I've used on my Reo-mini. Highly recommend it. It is a well built bridgeless and they've added enough metal mesh to hold ejuice near the coil. Some bridgeless attys do away with much of the metal mesh by removing the bridge (duh ;)) and the result is not optimum, imo. ymmv, of course.
