I am new to vaping & have used prefilled carts and have also been filling blank ones. My prefilled seemed to last longer than the ones I have filled. My question is that I have put about 15 drops in a new blank cart and have experienced a few times that it doesn't seem like anything is in there after I have left them to soak over night. I do put the plastic caps back on and the manufacturer suggests letting them sit for 20 mins...so what am I doing wrong?

Is your set-up 2 or 3 pieces? I ask because you said carto, then cartridges.

If it's 3 piece it's a cartridge, you can push the filler material down with a toothpick/bent paperclip and fill til almost full, lifting the filler material up and topping off until it looks slushy (if it pools up, take your bottle an suck up a bit of the liquid)

If it's 2 pieces it's a cartomizer, you can take the top off and insert a toothpick into the center tube and drop your liquid until the carto will not take anymore (getting liquid in the center tube can gum it up and leak into your battery). Allow it to absorb and you should be good to go.

hth! ;)

Yikes ok, I'm not all that familiar with V2 Products, and I know I've heard mixed reviews about them. I think your not putting in enough juice, 15 drops is just an estimate, I find with cartomizers I need closer to 22-28 drops of liquid. Try the condom fill method and see if that improves, you want it to look wet at all times, if not you may want to try a different PV all together.

I think the equipment is fine, just needs more juice. Sounds like you're using cartomizers (1 piece that screws into the battery, right?)

You can keep adding juice drop by drop until it won't take anymore. I would say that most will take 20-30 drops but is dependent on size, etc. New cartos will need to take in and absorb the juice to start wicking, then you can add a few drops from time to time to top off.

I also use the condom fill from time to time or you can use the taryn spin, both shown here to get the juice into a new carto;

Somewhere in PA on my Ultra Limited
I started with V2 and my wife still uses them (some love 'em, some hate 'em - worked great for me). The V2 blanks worked really well for me (FYI V2 says they're 2.6-2.8ohm), I also boiled all my prefilled and they're good for a few refills (if you haven't burned them dry).

What worked for me: pull end cap, hold at 45 deg angle and drip against the inner wall (rotate while dripping - kinda where the filling meets the wall). I start with 10 drops (let it absorb), add 5 more (let it absorb), add 5 more (let it absorb, and then top off with a few single drops till it looks slushy on top. Recap with the condoms and put away for tomorrow.

So, V2 cartos 22-24 drops, refreshed through the day with 4-6 drops to keep that newly filled experience.

I also like the Coolcarts from Vapor King (lasted pretty long), but hated their WOW Carts (all 10 of them burned on me in 1 or 2 fills)
