glycerin questions

i will thanks one of the reasons I am going to try vaping is the cost so making my own juice will save even more money which makes me interested.
I found Wilton Glycerine at Michael's today for $2.29 for 2 oz in the cake decorating aisle. I hope this is what I was supposed to get...I couldn't find USP anywhere on the bottle. It's a lavender and white label and below "Glycerine" it says "Restores consistency of icing colors".
Is that the right one? It's all they had.
It's the one I got and it seems fine so far. That matches the picture that someone (I don't remember who) posted somewhere here. I think I too am losing my mind. As it is used in icing it should be food grade.
Ok, I didn't think it would be a problem since it's consumable, but I wasn't sure about the consistency, and wow, is it ever sweet!!! I should have figured...."glyc". I think I'll be adding distilled water to my collection tomorrow. 
The purple bottle of VG from Micheal's is Wilton's which is used by quite a few people here, myself included. It works great and is fine to use.
When cutting eliquids it's not a 50/50 cut with VG. Take your flavored eliquid and cut it with 50% eliquid/40% VG/ 10% distilled water. The VG is just too viscous if you don't use a bit of distilled water. Just remember when cutting down that it does effect flavor and the strength of the liquid.
I'm using PS Menthol atm which is GREAT cut down since it's such a strong flavor to begin with. I cut down the 24mg in half to get 12mg.

Well, me too.
My plan is to gradually decrease my nicotine consumption until I'm at 0mg. Then hopefully with no nicotine, the act of vaping will lose its appeal and then no vaping either.But THAT remains to be seen!

Until I found it (and the brand name showing e-liquid it it), I had no idea what this stuff was called or where to find it since I bought my first e-cig from NJoy.
If someone is going to mix with this, I wouldn't add water to it. I've used it straight (no mixture, nicotine, or flavor - just to test it) and it gives a small amount of vapor, similar to but no more than an average cartridge. It's as runny as any e-liquid out there on the market.
