Question about higher nic?

I have a question for all of you who have vaped at different strengths.
I have dark chocolate cartos at 11mg..refill liquid at 8mg and 18mg. The 18mg tastes very tobaccocy or smokey to me..the lower nic doesn't have that taste. I like both and ended up mixing them. I still get a smokey taste. Normally I vape 11mg or less..does the higher nic really change the taste that much? Does nic have a taste at all?

I think higher nic does effect flavor.

I vape 36mg and can't taste any chocolate on the dark chocolate cartos.

I too feel that higher nic does effect flavor on some but I wouldn't be so sure that the two bottles of juice are identical. With so many old juices and new juices is it possible that you have different batches of the dark chocolate?

The ones I bought are in the 5 ml bottles. Those bottles were GOOD! They were just different in taste. The higher nic tasted more like the 11mg cartos then the lower nic. Mixing gave me the same flavor as the cartos.
I hope they continue getting the small bottles I think I would order the 8mg and the 18 mg again.
I was just wondering how much nic levels affect flavor.

Definitely some difference there, MaryKay. I remember posting a couple of months back--when I was comparing 11 and 18mg cartos--about how the 11s had more flav. Now that I've grown used to the 18s (my staple), I'd probably find the 24s unvapeable. Until I got used to them.

From my experience with nic gum especially, the nic tastes kind of peppery to me. Maybe that cuts into the flav?

I have (sometimes) noticed less flavor in higher nics as well. But, I have noticed flavor fluctuation in the same level of nicotine but from different batches. So, the variables aren't as simple as they seem. *Ain't* vaping fun? LOL
