A mini is pretty darned compact, and the threads are tougher than anything else around - but STILL, I don't like the pants-pocket carry...

Math above is right, except that 19mm isn't the LENGTH of the tank, it's the diameter...
But you HAVE a tank - so the question is how the ProVari lengths above compare to your MVP2. I think about 1/2" shorter in 18350 mode. But that's also not an all-day battery.

The Provari is the same width as the 22mm IBTanks. You may go for something more robust if you go for a mini, like a Kayfun or a Russian 91%. The Russian 91% I think is easier to flush mount and if you use the steel tank insert on it, you have a device that is practically indestructible. Kayfun style atty's are built like tanks, just like the Provari. I wouldn't be surprised if someone were to run over a [Provari Mini+ Russian 91% w/ steel tank] with a car, that it would still be vaping. To me, that sounds like it fits your needs for a pocket carry device.

I wouldn't try the above scenario at home though...
