Just curious, has anyone created a mod, or for that matter is there a e-cig in production that doesn't use a light at the end? I have a bloog and battery life has been an issue for me. It would seem a significant part of the battery charge is used just to light it up. I am not much of a McGuyver, and may be totally wrong in the energy consumption of the light. I know it serves the purpose of telling you the battery is dying, but that is evident through use. Would it not be benificial to do away with the light on all e-cigs?

I hear the Janty KB does not have an LED.

I did not put one in my mod - a version of Jaax's Juice Box. It serves no purpose with a manual switch - I know when the button is depressed, and there is no dreaded cleaning cycle.

Nicowolf--I too did a Jaaxx Juice Box and there is absolutly no need for some fad LED light with the momentary switch on it. None what so ever that I can think of---Sun

Yes It Is Beneficial to Have a Built IN Led Light and If your doing a mod and LED Light is a Good Idea (when wired correctly).

The LED Light Is an Important Indicator Of Whats Going On!

Partial List Of Reasons for Installing a LED Light In Mods:

- U can tell if your battery still has power (any power, batt capacity left from seeing brightness/ dimming, etc)
- U can check switch function without tearing your mod apart
- Some switches are cheap, break easily or can't carry the load
- U can avoid burning your mod up if your switch sticks "on" (very common, depending on your mod, What switch used, how the switch was installed (glued, threaded) & parts used) Don't use Crazy Glue near or On Any Micro Switch.
- Most LEDS Lights use hardly any power to be concerned with! Thats why they are LEDS, Low Power Requirements, Long Life & Efficiency

I am not crappin on anyone, this is my opinion is just in general, cuz some people are pros, others are newbie's or other trying to do the mods.

Hope this helps!

Keep Building!
