Many companies, especially the ones that produce rebuildables and mech mods, release their batches in "runs", like 1st run, 2nd run, etc. Other than improvements, do the earlier-generation runs usually have more value to them? I am curious because every time I go out to a vape shop, and somebody brings out a higher-end mech mod, one guy always makes that "oh wow a 1st run!" comment like it's a Babe Ruth rookie card. Just trying to clarify the significance of it. Thanks.

Most likely its because of the low serial number. Its collectible. Later versions may have many upgrades to them. But the low serial numbers are worth more for some reason. I don't collect. I vape. So whether its serial 001 or 100000000. Doesn't matter one bit to me.
