Question about new Evod 2

I use Evods almost exclusively now (aside from a couple protank 2s with adapters and aspire coils). I was excited to see the new Evod 2 because the one drawback for me about the Evods is not being able to switch out drip tips. I'm thinking about ordering a couple of the Evod 2s but I realized that they probably only take the new dual coil heads (like the ones for the protank 3). I'm not sure that I want 3 different kinds of coil heads to keep track of and I'm not ready to stop using my original Evods completely yet, seems like a waste. Does anyone know if the new Evod 2s work with the single coil heads? Like I said, I doubt it, but I figured I'd throw it out there on the off chance it could make my life easier.....

I have quite a few Evods and like them very much. I haven't seen or heard about the Evod 2's. I'll have to check them out. I'm like you - I don't want to have to have a bunch of different heads for different toppers. Thanks for the heads up about them.

The protank 3 also takes regular protank heads, but the pt2 won't take the pt3 heads. This will probably be the case with the evod and evod 2, though I'm just making an assumption that if they did it for one they would do it for another.

This. I know the PT3 is reverse-compatible with previous versions - you can use the OG heads in the new device, but you can't use the new heads in an old device. I'd assume it would be the same with Evod, but I'm not sure - haven't even seen the Evod 2 yet, but I've moved on to glass clearos for peace of mind versus worrying about cracker liquids - the smok Aro pyrex is pretty much the same as an Evod but a little bigger and takes T3S heads...love 'em.

Glass is always nice, and I do have an Aro. I like it but I'm not a fan of the stainless drip tip. I don't switch up liquids too often so I don't worry much about cracking. I'm sort of a clutz so sometimes, especially when I'm out and about, plastic gives me peace of mind because I know that even if I do something dumb nothing will break.
