My mom does. Now does that mean that you should or shouldn't....lol. That is a very good question. I think the pcc has a (for lack of better terminology) off trigger where it senses the batt is charged and it stops sending any voltage to it. I am not positive on that statement as my head is quite foggy this evening....sooooo....I hope someone else pops in here and either corrects me or backs me on this
It should not drain any more than what it puts into the battery to charge it...after the batt is at full charge, there should be no more power drained from the pcc.
The battery charge indicator blinks periodically when the battery is fully charged, but charging on the battery stops when it is full. I suppose you will lose some charge from the PCC internal battery when that light blinks, but it should be minimal.
In my own experience, when I left the battery screwed on after too many hours both the batt and PCC were drained. I always carry a battery unscrewed in the PCC tho.
I've used it with a battery screwed-in, and also not screwed-in (if already charged). The PCC will lose its charge over time even when it's not being used, so I top off the charge daily for "just in case".
