Hey guys er Casey:D, thanks for the quick shipping on my recent order. I think I am set for life on attys and am still patiently waiting for my 510 pt and a 801 adapter to ship, order# 17893:)

While 510 is my main device I ordered some 801 attys too because they I hear so many great reviews from all users here, with pd and pt of-course, so I thought I give them a shot.

Well, I feel like a newbie all over again since I have no clue about 801's or 901's or 401.. well you get the drift. But I did buy a starter kit awhile back to fulfill my curiosity. Well I simply didn't like it especially after using 510 for a month time. The sucking was waaaay air~y and I couldn't stand the auto battery the on off switch was a joke. But because I heard Steve or someone from the forum said PS 801 attys have only 3 holes instead of 4, I thought I give it a try. Well today when the package arrived and compared PS 801 with my 4 hole atty, I noticed there were no visible holes on PS atty..? Also, PS atty is about 1mm shorter than my 4 hole atty. So now I'm really confused and hoping some of you 801 experts can shed some light for the newbie.

Thanks,
bri

The holes are not really holes like you think of them. The 'holes' are actually channels that are molded into the atomizer connector and hidden behind the metal rig at the bottom. In the photo, you can see one of those channels at 7 o'clock. This atomizer has four hols in total.

Chef, thanks for the info. I wasn't worried about where the holes were as long as they work as advertised. But that is interesting because the atty I have from a starter kit actually has 4 visible holes inside of the thread. Also, not like your photo it has a groove on the center hole/ring.

The Saibao 801's also incorporate the "Hidden Channel" design that Breakfast Chef has mentioned. There is in fact 4 holes in the atty's but Steve orders his with one of the holes plugged.

This is a PS (Saibao) 801 with the internal components removed. The channels leading to the air intake holes are clearly visible.:)

I have no idea about the anatomy of my 801 attys, but something really weird happened to me...

I just bought 4 801 attys from ps. Te first one i tried worked, so I decided to spend my time breaking that first one in. I waited about 5-6 days until trying the other three today bc I thought I fried my first one. None of the other attys work at all. 2 heat up, the other one doesn't. No vapor tho. I don't know what happened, but I tried them all for a good while, and still nothing. all connection points have ben cleaned, 2 drops of liquid each, and nothing. Any ideas?

You might have luck with my atty priming sequence described here... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ing-510-cart-am-i-doing-wrong.html#post475416 IMHO, 2 drops of liquid is just a teaser for the prodigy. With a new atty, ya really can't be stingy with the juice. I start with 4-6 drops and tailpipe prime 'em to ensure good liquid dispersion throughout the mesh.

Always better to err on the side of being too generous with juice (You can always blow out excess juice and start over if ya flood an atty) when using a new atty. Not enough juice and you can easily overheat it and blow the coil.8-o

I won't be testing any of my PS 801 attys until I get my PT. I was wondering if the PT gets the same power performance as PD and how much of juice I need to start off right so I don't blow them.

Not quite the same as the Prodigy but very close. See the link I posted above for my "New atty priming method". It works great for Me.:)
