question about RBA's and ohm's

so i decided to take the plunge and pick up some rba's, i order an phoenix clone and a chobra , both from discountvapers.com who was awesome on shipping and price btw, thanks so much. on my first go around on the chobra i managed a 2.3 ohm coil and a 2.6 on the phoenix, being new to these my question is.... are these sufficient coils for both of these rba's and what kind of voltage should i be aiming for?

nice to meet you. i remember that there was this chart on the 'ideal' voltage/wattage that you can vape using the ohm that you've built.i wish i knew how to post it here.BTW, what pv are you running on?

sorry connavar.....tried attaching this but heck i cant seem to find that dang attachment chart. Anyway, here a rough indication on numbers.

Please do note this is merely a guide and you gotta find your sweet spot on this depending on your viscosity and complexity of your juice.

For 2.3ohms - 'ideal' voltage would be 3 to 4 volts and in watts would be 4 to 7 watts


For 2.6ohms - 'ideal' voltage would be 3.2 to 4.2 volts and in watts would be 4.5 to 8 watts

Those both sound like sufficient readings to me. Although that's the best thing about RBA's, you rebuild them to your liking and vaping preference. If you want to vape at 8 watts then there is a math equation to figure it out. Assuming you have a VV device. Its

volts squared divided by ohms.. so you would want about 4.3v for the 2.3 ohm coil. 4.3 * 4.3 = 18.49 / 2.3 = 8.03 watts.
