Question about rebuilding coils.

So, my friend has an aspire nautilus and I have the et-s bdc. Would it come out cheaper and better quality if I just rebuild the coils instead of buying more coils?

I have never built a coil for an Aspire, but I do them for Kangers (Mini ProTank2 and Aero, and ProTank2) and it is quite simple and very cheap. I got 100 feet of 32g a wire for about $8 and I got a bag of cotton that should last me a couple of years for $4.

I have an Nautilus and until I bought it, all I knew about electricity was if you turn on the switch, the lights come on. I watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAmIJIUeEUg and have been wrapping my own coils ever since.

If this old great granny can do this, anyone can.

it will be definitely cheaper at the mid-ling run and you will have more fun.
that way you can play with different gauges and coil sizes for better performance an liking

If you like tinkering then yes, have some fun with it. You will find a setup that you like better than the premade for sure.

If you can try enough times to just 'get' it, it's very worth it. Money wise and experience wise.

I had hours of tinkering with my protanks untill it just 'clicked' to rebuild it. Now it's second nature almost. Saved a bunch of money with it for the time I will be using them. Just the rubber grommits will wear out, but still money saved and spare parts.

Just need the initial patience and a lot of YT movies for it good luck

ProTank insulator replacements. The silicone ones are much easier to work with than the rubber ones.
