I just got my first ecig about two weeks ago. It's a KR808D-1 type with the cartomizers. I read and got some advice here about refilling them so I went and bought some juice, blanks and also a carto assortment so I could try a number of flavors.

I noticed that refilling used cartos leaves a bit of taste from the previous flavor. Not too bad as long as the flavor change isn't drastic. The blanks are no problem at all.

Here's my question. In the assortment I received there are a few flavors I don't like at all like Cappuccino. I really don't want to smoke the whole thing or put a different flavor in it when it is done. Is there any good way to get existing juice/flavor out of a cartomizer?

Vanilla goes with anything, a good chocolate or cocoa goes with almost anything

You don't have to use cartos to try flavors. Get a DSE901 atomizer (standard resistance, not LR) and DSE901 blank carts (DSE901 screws right on KR808D-1), or better if you have manual batteries you can get a 901 drip tip and use that on the 901 atomizer. You still have the issue of getting the flavor out but at least it's not using up a carto to try a flavor.

Did this recently when I decided to color-code my cartos to my juices to make figuring out what was what easier. Problem was that several were full. No big deal.

Pop off the mouthpiece and take out the silicon donut. Put those in a glass of hot water to soak, set aside.
Put the cartos in a pan and cover with plenty of hot water. Put on medium-high heat. Boil 15 minutes, drain the water, rinse, repeat. Then blow out the excess water and stick 'em in a muffin tin, battery side down. Put in a warm oven (180-200 degrees) and bake for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. Presto...clean, dry cartos in right about an hour and a half.

I didn't realize this would work on the 808. I'd like to try dripping myself; I think I'll order a couple of the 901 atomizers and a drip tip. Thanks, dormouse!
