I understand the whole steeping process but how is the liquid supposed to steep with the only opening in the bottle being a tiny hole? Am I missing a step or something?
It's the bottles from MBV. The cap is the only thing I can take offTake the dropper tip off
Popping the caps off for a week & shaking daily helps speed the steeping process.
I have a dedicated medicine cabinet in the kitchen, the highest shelf is my steeping shelf. 2 dogs & a cat & haven't had any problems doing it that way yet.

Thanks for the info. I'm on day 9 of steeping but with the drip tips on. Should I give them an extra few days?
I take only the caps off for about a day, then put them back on and put to one side. Taking the caps off helps evaporate the perfumey taste from MBV flavorings (IMHO - yours may be different)
Then I put them in my vape chest and wait a few days / weeks depending on what juice it is and how much I want to vape it.
I don't think you need to have the caps off to steep - in fact I know this is true. I have two different juices exactly the same but one is 2 weeks younger - they are different colors and I haven't removed the cap on either since the first day I got them.
At the very least you should open them once each day, squeeze the air out of them and suck fresh air in. The 3 enemies of juice are heat, air and light but they can be used to our advantage when steeping. You can generally expect the juices to slightly darken.
Well now that clears that up for me, and to think i was going to start a thread about why my juices are getting a little darker... Great info... Thanks..![]()
noob question: can you over-steep?
