Question about Subtank series

Hi everybody, I just have a quick question about the sub tank series by kangertech.

I bought the sub box mini and it came with the sub tank mini. The .5 coil that came with the sub tank is rated for 15 to 60 watts. The other night I bought the sub tank plus and the .5 coil is rated for 15 to 30 watts.

I assume they were the same wattage initially and as a result I burnt my sub tank plus coil. If they are both .5 ohm coil how come they are rated for different wattage? And can I put the 15 - 60 coil in the sub tank plus?

I believe it is because of the changes in design, one is a horizontal coil while the other is vertical coil.

Yeah they are. The one rated to 60 watts are the newer vertical coils. I like them a lot better.
