I have converted dozens to vaping during my time as a paramedic offshore over the last two years. I used to be able to get away with clone spinners and evods from fasttech... Just last night on the trade forum I bought 2 Istick 50 watts, 2 subox kits ( one black and one white ) 8 coils and some extras for 100 bucks... I already know I am going to but the stuff anyway... Might as well get it cheap. I now have guys willing to pay for juice, coils, batteries ect here at work...

Yeah I am addicted... haven't even broken in my crown tank and istick 100 watt before ordering the TFV4 and an X-pro 80 plus...

The question is am I the only one with this addiction?

Kangertech EVOD Kit = $85.00
Kangertech Aero Tank = $40.00
Kangertech EVOD Battery = $35.00
Aspire Premium Kit = $110.00
Apsire Nautilus= $60.00
SMOK BEC Pro 50W = $155.00
Joytech E-Grip = $60.00
SMOK M65 = $85.00
Joytech EGO One = $65.00
Joytech EGO One 2.5ml Tank = $25.00
Kangertech KBOX Mini = $99.00
Kangertech Sub Tank Mini = $40.00
Kangertech Sub Tank Nano = $30.00
Kangertech Sub Tank Plus = $60.00
Joytech Evic VT = $85.00
Heatvape Invader Mini = $99.00

Grand Total in Canadian = $1133.00 + Tax

This does not include coils, juice, extensions for tanks, covers for tanks, sleeves etc.

My wife would kill me if she knew!

You have only just begun the journey.

My last 2 mods cost about that.

Good thing the wife's last 2 entire setups on ran about 10% of that.

Otherwise we'd be broke

A few days ago I talked to a guy who was spending $1500 a month for a while and hurting himself financially. On average I think I've spent $100 a month, $30 of that on juice. I plan to save most of the eliquid cost with DIY then budget $300 a year for hardware. That should work out to about $400 per year. Cigarettes were costing me $3,000.

LOL @WillyZee. @beckdg got to a much more clever reply than I (and about an hour and a half earlier!)

O.k. I have THREE packages arriving on Monday (one package is a prize from a contest....) Pair of Velocities is en route, and I just pulled the trigger on a Vaporflask Squonk Clone....

BUT, I'm still money ahead than what I was smoking a PAD......

I was evaluating my "stash" this morning. I'm mostly a simple, regulated box mod kind of gal. I got the Smokeless Owl as an inexpensive foray into bottom feed mods. Got the Velocity because I was destroying RDAs trying to mod them for bottom feed. LOVE the Velocity ($10 each, including the BF pin adapter.) Looked around for a regulated BF mod, and read some promising info on the VF Clone. Have a b'day coming up (might get the mod by then?)

Most I've spent on a mod was about $65.

My wife and I used the same setup for almost 20 months and our son bought it for us, other than replacement parts and juice that's all I spent, largely because of threads like this on ECF. Then I began lurking on the ECF Reo thread, asking a lot of questions then viewing YouTube review vids I bought 2 LP Reo Grands/RM2's, a battery charger, batteries and some 100mg nic, PG&VG, $500.00 later I now make my own coils and diy my own unflavoured ejuice. Vaping costs the equivalent of a Starbucks coffee a month. I still need another couple of Reo's for a backup. I quess what I am trying to say in a very convoluted way is we all spent the same one way or the other and it's better than spending the dollars on cigarettes.

If you are happy and paying the bills rejoyce :)

I would echo some of the other comments about trying to pay for some higher quality more lasting items to reduce the churn so to speak. I have a couple of kayfun lite v2, the authentic is 80 and does not have as many parts as the v4. Solidly built.

Local vape also have a special right now on authentic aqua v2s fir a crazy 25 bucks shipped. Well reviewed tank, original price 145 i guess they just weren't moving and wanted them gone.

I could post my list but its long lol, i do keep track though. Even with having wasted a few hundred on juice i didn't like / first mods that i got at b&r / couple of mods i quickly outgrew... Over 2 years (i started in april but have planned ahead cause i fear regulation) i will have spent about the same as my old camel pack a day. If i keep vaping for 3 4 years or longer i will probably end up paying a third per year or less easily.

Still, it is so much more enjoyable and delicious to me than smoking ever was (or at least had been for years) i wouldn't mind if it was a bit more per month.

It does feel really good once you have found the setup you enjoy and can stop 'searching' at least it has been for me. I have devices i really enjoy, lots of delicious juice and enough backups to not abruptly loose something i really enjoy should the vapocalypse strike.

I read everything on this website that I possibly could for about a month, all the while smoking real cigarettes while I was reading the info. I mean to tell you that I read for at least a hundred hours or more. We are talking some major research.

What I finally learned was that I should find a way to get myself a Provari and a Kayfun based on the happy reviews and satisfied vapers opinions. I found a good clean used set-up for $80. I did not want buy brand new, just in case I hated vaping. I have never been sorry. I have since tried dozens of outfits, and nothing I have tried outperforms the Provari and Kayfun combo for flavor and nicotine delivery IMHO.

I wished all new vapers would try a similar outfit, you wouldn't need to buy anything else; at least if you want to quit smoking, and want flavor and nicotine. If you are only into this for a hobby or cloud chasing, this set-up won't make you happy.

I spent my first year and half buying everything I could find. I'm a coop junkie with being involved in @40 coops in different Forums and Facebook with ECF leading the way with my buys. I got burnt once by a vendor with bait and switch and that was my last vendor gear purchase. My wife and I have had a top shelf vape experience and will continue this trend. I got way more gear than will ever use but thats OK and as long as my wife is vaping without hassles then we both are mighty happy.
Its been about 6 months now that I really haven't bought anything since the Canadian dollar shyte the bed but I have bought a couple kanger subtanks and going to be hopefully getting some TFV4 tanks from another coop. You'll never stop buying ..just try to control yourself, its hard but I had to slow down the buying when I thought my wife's eyes wouldn't come back from the rolled back position. :)

My wife just intercepted a package from me and opened the can of worms....
Made me sow her all the vaping expenses and u was a bit scared to even add them up, but guess what...
I've spent 900 in hardware and 300 for juice, mostly diy in 3 years :)

The argument stopped there and I'm happy!! Much much much less than what I would have spent smoking

I worked my way up the ranks.

Cigalike, Ego's, spinners, mechs, Cheap box's, Provari and.....

Always had my eye on the SX Mini but figgered the above was good enough.

I was wrong. The SX has worked a special kinda magic on me.

Knowing me I'll buy again. But for the first time ever I feel I have a mod the mood won't pass.

Atty's are another kettle of fish all together.
