You can get them at most sites that sell mods, but 2 I know of off-hand are madvapes.com and mountainoakvapors.com. I ordered 32ga Kanthal from moutainoakvapors, and bought 100% cotton yarn from Walmart for my wicks. Gonna try SS mesh next - for that, I would suggest a co-op as an order by yourself can get expensive.

Both of those sites are not too far from you in FL, so they would ship to you pretty quick. I think they are both located in North Carolina.

I´m using a small " short haired"(not the big U shaped 1) MESH coil which I self build, and it works FANTASIC!

im going to try nichrome next. i got kenthal and silica from OKC Vapes (OP- great site to test the waters: you can buy a yard at a time for like a dollar. they also have 325 and 400 SS mesh). but the kenthal does not taste the same as what im used to. theres a chance the off flavor could be due to my virgin rebuild skills, but its likely that im just not a kenthal guy. you may want nichrome, then again you might not. its a personal preference thing.

I was pointed to this video about a guy building his own cheesecloth wicks , and will probably try something like this on the Vivi Nova. Read the comments below the video, and he'll give the thread count that he used on the VN. He also seems to recommend some bamboo crochet thread as a better alternative. I haven't gotten around to doing this yet, but it's in my near future. Good luck.

I was going to mention the cheese cloth, but you beat me to it.

vaporcigzz.com has 32 awg kanthall and 1mm wick that is perfect for the nova and a good price. i suggest using 6 wraps and 4 pieces of 1mm wick. it seems to work best for me in my mini and full size novas. also i have bought 3mm wick from mountainoakvapors.com they also have wire. use 1 piece of 3mm wick.

Some threads you'll probably find useful if you're getting into rebuilding ViviNova heads:

Also, if you don't have an APV with resistance reading function, make sure you purchase a multimeter if you don't have one around and learn how to use it to check for resistance and possible shorts. Doesn't have to be anything fancy, a $4 multimeter from HF here will suffice.

I got a 100 foot roll of Kanthal 32 awg on ebay for under ten bucks, took only a week to get it. I use cotton yarn, which is also easily gotten and with a little pre-boiling really works pretty good. Wicks really well (I don't use braided, just stranded), and will usually only burn if I try to act a little silly and push it too hard. Rebuilding my heads has gotten so easy and so cheap this way that I simply install a new wick and coil instead of trying to clean it. I can usually run 5-6 ml or so, at the end of the week rinse them all off and pull them apart, and install the new wick and coil, getting 3 or 4 ready for the next week. A decent but inexpensive device like the Vivi Nova can be pushed along for quite a while for almost nothing that way.
