Question about switching out coils

When changing the flavor of ejuice in your tank and you want to use a new coil, is it okay to leave the previous coil sitting out to reuse when you're ready to switch back to previous flavor? If so, how long before it risks drying out and needing primed again?

It's not giving me any dry hits or burnt taste, i just wanted to use a new coil with the flavor change without tasting the previous flavored juice i was vaping on.

When I used them I would just put them in a small Tupperware container with the flavor labeled on it. They should be fine next time you want to use them. Unless you go quite awhile before then even then you could just put a few drops of juice into the "vents" before replacing it.

I always rinsed mine out. But I used Protank coils What kind of coils are you using?

Cocacola31173, I use BVC's for my nautilus mini and once they start tasting burnt or giving me dry hits, i have run them under hot water, let them dry out a few days, prime and reuse for a few more days. But this coil i've been vaping on doesn't have the burnt taste, so wasn't quite ready to run it under water just yet. Just wasn't sure if it would dry out with my previous juice still on the coil and if it would be reusable with the same juice i used it for.

I'm not aware of any "drying out" but maybe over weeks or months ... otherwise it will always be easier to re-prime than a new one. I'd wrap it in a bit of paper towel to help suck out the dirty juice inside.

I use the little 2" square ziplock baggies and label them with the juice flavor.
