I have them dedicated for my ADVs. Then I have about half a dozen used for trying different ones. That thing of letting heads dry never appealed to me ... impatient I guess... anyway, I just wash in super hot water and blow through the air tube from the part that fits up in the clearo, holding my finger over the other end to force air over the coil until no more water comes out and that's it... can't wait for drying. It doesn't dry the wicks but does get excess water out. The taste is muted at first but only briefly. I never really understood why its necessary to dry a wick you're going to wet anyway. Of course I've always been a bit of a maverick.

I guess I just thought that if the wick is saturated with water it will not absorb the juice...

What I'm trying to sort out is (if I stick with tanks) how to transport and hold the filled tanks that are not connected to a PV. I am already bringing three PVs to work (which is kind of ridiculous-Provari, VTR, and 134 mini) with tanks but maybe I want to switch to a fourth or fifth flavor during the day. So how do I transport filled tanks without spill?

I have like 7 carto tanks that have a flavor dedicated to each one. When Im not using them I put them in empty prescription bottles and I put the soft white cap on them. I put the bottle of juice on top of the bottle. I always fill them up before I put them in the bottle so in the mornings all I have to do is pick my flavors for day and Im set. I find that I can get 30 mls of juice through a carto so when that bottle is empty I clean the tank and put in a fresh carto.

I do have a couple of Protank 2 that I keep cause a few of my juices will really clog a cartomizer.

I have two Kanger Mini ProTank IIs that I rotate all day long, switching between (currently) six different flavors. When one is empty, I'll refill with a different flavor and vape on. No rinsing, no re-wicking, no dry burning (which would suck with cotton :)). The last flavor is totally gone in a few vapes, no issue. When the flavor gets muted, I'll pop in a newly rebuilt coil/wick and enjoy.

Empty cartomizers or an RDA if you don't mind rebuilding. If you want an RDA, even if you don't want to rebuild, if you buy from a reputable B&M, they might build it for you, for a cost. If you have them build micro coils for cotton, changing a wick when changing flavors is a snap.

The cartomizers option would give you disposable cartos, and if you find a juice you decide is "the one" then you can get a carto tank and be done with it.

Well this is exactly the problem right now. I'm at work and have been rotating three flavors. For some reason, I now have the urge to switch to another flavor and I didn't bring a foruth tank. So I might have to try your method of washing out the wick/coil and just use it right away.

EDIT. I meant just pouring in another juice and not even washing. Not sure I want my colleagues to see me washing out weird equipment in the bathroom! ;-)

I am in the same boat. As of now I have 2 original protanks, a protank3 and an aspire nautilus going. Like you, I need more so I may buy a few more OG protanks and start/try rebuilding coils. The whole dripping thing seems great when I am home but I am gone for work at 3am and usually not home until 4pm. I may buy a Kayfun to play with but will most likely just buy a few more tanks.

I have 7 different toppers and 2 clearos. I have different flavors in each one. I like to switch flavors throughout the day so this helps. I work outside so dripping is not an option. My work is pretty hectic so I use EVODS as they have a metal outside and take a beating. I have broken a few but for the most part, pretty bulletproof! They are about $5-6 each. About the cost of a pack of smokes!

use a couple/few drippers to test out flavors.

use as many tanks as you have flavors you'd like to keep in rotation to quickly swap out flavors.

or get a reo and drip to taste and fill bottles with each flavor you'd like to keep. then you just dry burn, rewick and switch the bottle.

ideally, you don't want your working tanks stuck full of flavors you find you don't like.

BTW you don't really have to wait for the coils and stuff to dry. Just blow the water out of all parts and dry them up, then do a dry burn. They have an inbuilt heater and there is no need to wait for drying AFAIK. After dry burn rinse the atty head once again and dry burn again. Then fill up and put some juice directly on the atty and wait a few minutes. This works for me so far. But best would be to get like 4-5 Nautilus tanks for the start.

I am sort of a juice junky. I have tanks for every flavor type /group. About 10-12 running right now. If I get a new flavor, I figure out which flavor set it would best sit with... fruit, custard, soda, tobacco, cinnamon, menthol etc. That way if I want to try a new juice I can decide which type of flavor to share a tank with :)

This sounds interesting, please elaborate :) A kind of guide would be nice.
What flavour groups are good to keep together?

I need to get more tanks soon but don't know what kind of tank I ultimately want. So far I have a hard time cleaning them (quickly because I only have 2 tanks and a eCom lol). Some tastes just won't come out and seem to stick to the silicone or air ways. I only rinse and wash them with soap quickly and of course I should let them soak in some alcohol I guess. But time is money ;)

I test new flavors in my Kayfun. Pull the the wick, dryburn, install a new wick and add flavor. I dont fill the tank, just a few drops on the wick and try it out. Guess its kinda the same as using a dripper, but drippers tend to be very airy and hard hitting. Using the Kafun allows you to ease into it to see if its something you like or not. No good, pull the wick and start over or fill the tank.

I'm hardheaded. I was told to wait until it dried out, but I tried vaping on a freshly cleaned & dry burned tank and it wasn't a good experience. No flavor, no throat hit, no nothing... felt like I was vaping water. I thought it would eventually burn the water out & get to the eLiquid, but it didn't. It was easier for me to move on to another tank, rinse that other one out & let it dry..

I only tried it once though, so I might give it a shot the next time I clean.
