Question about the extension cap!?

I'm looking to buy a provari v2 and want to use the 10 18650 batteries, with the extension cap can I use the 18650 battery that are like 65mm long, not the flat top?? I don't have the flat tops, I just have the longer (regular) 18650 batt. Just want to make sure the extension cap will fit my regular battery not only the flat top 18650. Please let me know so I can buy with certainty. Thanks

Never mind I found out that u actually have to use the batts with the pos button instead of flat tops! I'm all good! WAIT...... just looking and it says to use HIGH DRAIN BATTS? Does this mean I wont be successful in using my good old trustfire 2400mah with the positive nipple?

Does any provari users use regular 18650 batts that arent High drain?

trustfires are garbage. if you are vaping high voltage these batteries cannot supply enough juice to make it work well... you should only use imr's when vaping high voltage.

to me the only batteries worth a damn is aw imr's

You can use them, but you may find your ProVari cutting out and turning itself off. If the battery can't keep up with the power demand, the ProVari will turn itself off. It's a safety feature, as you really don't want to push a battery past the limit. They go boom, and your tongue falls out. In pieces.

I just got this reply from provapes in regard to this:
"We only recommend using the AW red high drain batteries because these cells have enough output current to handle the demands that the ProVari needs. While the trustfires and others with a button top will work, it's when you get into pulling more power those protected IC batteries will shutdown. This is because the protection circuit on the battery is turning off when it reaches its output max which is only about 2 amps. With the AW cells they can supply a lot more power to the unit."

Now I understand, I will have to spend about $50 more to get the special batts. darn.. Guess it will be worth it.

On the AW IMR 18650 2000 mah. They work great on my V2. All my mods run AW IMR's and I won't have it any other way. They are great batts and are intended to be used on high end mods such as the Provari or a REO.

I was looking at the aw imr batts and only the smaller mah batt says its high drain, the other 2000mah doesn't,? Are the both high drain? Just wanted to make sure before I order,. Thanks

Yes, they're both High Drain. The 2000mah is just the newest version of the AW IMR high drain batts.

Super-T does have the best battery prices around.......... You can check if they are in stock on the website, SuperT will say out of stock if they are...You wont be able to add it to your cart either.................
