You may be drawing too hard with your inhale technique. This is not like smoking a cigarette. E-cigs require you to take a longer, gentle, draw. Your iClear 16 (or any clearomizer) only has a few tiny string wicks bringing e-liquid to the heating coils. Vape too strongly and the wicks can't keep up, and you end up burning the wick dry.

Also, are you using a variable voltage eGo? If so, you may have the voltage set too high for the coil. Don't set the voltage higher than 4 volts. Some flavors will taste burnt if you go too high in voltage, especially fruit flavors.

Being that the iClear 16 is a top coil/top wick device, as the liquid level falls in the tank, you'll need to "tip" the tank horizontal to keep the upper wicks wet.

I agree with what everyone else said...

I just put the same clearo at 3.8 but with a 50/50 ... not a lot of air flow from the I-clear16 .... try this: put the tip to you ear and fire the power button.... when it gives ya good crackle --- try hitting it again, but try loosening your lips around the tip and let more air in when you draw. -- If you are not getting a satisfying enough hit - ya might need to up your nic level a bit? Dont give up -- fine tune your vape, try different hardware and juices... and you will find what you are looking for.

hmm well i believe item taking light drags because if i do it any lighter i dont get anything..

Do you know how to take the I clear 16 apart, clean, and dry burn? Ive been using these on/off for months now, they are a dual top coil clearo, so i wouldnt be too concerned about the warm drip tip as these clearos when you really get them going provide quite the warm vapor. My fiance had this same problem the other day, took apart, cleaned, dry burn, back together and it was good to go. Good luck!

Try it at 3.5 or 3.6. I have one on a mini ego for stealth mode. I have to take it easy right after it comes off the charger and once the volts drop a bit alls well. For cleaning I take the coil out, remove the silicone cover and rinse under the sink. I dry it with a paper towel. I then pulse it till it's dry under the coil. I continue to pulse, a few seconds on and a few seconds off , til I burn the gunk off. Then I rinse, dry and pulse til it's dry under the coil and it's ready to go again. Takes about five minutes or so.

I have several 16's that I have been using for about 6-7 weeks with the same heads. Even with cleaning and dry burning, everything was tasting burnt or scorched. I put new heads in them and the problem went away. It was well worth the $2.50 to do it.

I'm vaping a 50/50 right now in an iclear16. I use a straight ego for it, so if you are running vv (twist/spinner) you will want to prob drop down to 3.3-3.5v. The more vg you use, the more you will want to turn down the volts and take longer drags.

i will try 3.6 see how that goes.
im using itaste vv v3
