I think you should clean & dry burn it……takes the break in time down to zero. I think that using them without cleaning & dry burning first leads to incredibly inconsistent results.
It will have a line to indicate how much juice is in it. fill to just below the top line. Not all the way to the top. BTW let it sit for a couple of minutes to let the wicks soak up the juice. MY bad I should have posted that in the first one.

If I may .... into this thread, what head is best in one is using a Twist 1.8, 2.4?
I hear most like the 2.4 flint and thats the one on it when it arrives.
Here's a vid on Vivi Nova cleaning and care. Keep in mind that half of the video shows how to build your own coil for it. That won't be necessary for you now as the attys are replaceable, but in case you want to learn, it's all there. Vivi Nova cleaning and re-wicking
Vivi Nova for 3.3- 4 volts the 1.8 ohms is best...4- 4.8 volts 2.4 ohms is best.
How to do that? You'll help more than one noob!

That video's pretty good. But phil skips an important step. You need to rinse out the coil after you dry burn it……otherwise the gunk that you burn off will just stay there. He also doesn't burn for long enough.
Replace his dry burning method with this one, and it works really well.
