Hello,

I was lucky enough to get a great deal in the classified section on a zen z-atty pro and i was wondering if something
was possible.. There are 2 holes in the unit one for the wick and one for filling.. Would it be possible to use the fill hole for a
secondary wick? Im pretty confident that i can get around 1.3-1.5 ohms on my wick.. My logic is if i am able to set up
2 of these coils i could vape at higher voltages and double vapor production by using 2 coils..

Is there a way that has been demonstrated to do a dual coil stainless steel setup in the z-atty pro..

Thanks

Jaime

I don't "believe" anyone has done this, and I personally don't think it would work very well without modification.
What would you connect the bottom coil to, that screw is on the other side of the post..
There are several other gennies that are conducive to this type of set-up, but I personally don't see a need for it, particularly on the Zen~ devices. When properly set-up, they vape like trains..

Good Morning. I don't believe you can do that. I have read that you need that hole there for how the air circulates (it's something like that). Someone just asked yesterday, if they could plug that hole and the resounding answer was no. you should be able to get that ohm range with fewer coils or different gauge kanthal wire. Aside from that, Zen will tell you that an oxidized wick may stop some current from flowing but not all, so you need an insulator in the hole.

The second hole you are referring to is the filling hole and it is way too small to put a wick into. Like both tybin and Vapor2112 have said this is not possible. It is also not really necessary as you are able to change the ohms of the coil with both fewer wraps and smaller gauge wire. You also can just turn up the volts on the ProVari. Congrats on your recent acquisition!!! And come join us in the HoH Thread.
