Hello everyone,

I currently vape with snow wolf 200w regulated mod with atlantis v2, 0.5 ohm, 100 VG juice 3mg.

I have noticed that every time I wake up in the morning and put a freshly charged battery in the mod, the hits are much harder for first 10-15 draws.

I am vaping at 30w.

I had an impression that only unregulated mods hits harder fresh off the battery because they start off at 4.2 volts?

Can anyone please elaborate this for me?

Thanks in advance.

Daniel

Sure it's not YOU rather than the device?
First thing in the AM, lungs not ready for the big cloud yet, then get acclimated...
Or, again, it could be the chip the the mod not really perfectly regulating the voltage...

that's what I was thinking; sounds like high nic in the morning

Thank you so much for the replies.
I appreciate it.
I vape at 3mg 100 VG.
Yea, it might be the fact that my lungs aren't really ready for long drags right when I wake up.
BTW, I always filled the tank full before I go to sleep.
Maybe its some sort of pressure build up on the coil or over saturation over night?

Thanks

Oh - that may very well explain it.

He said - 0.5 ohms, 30 watts.
Which only pulls 3.87 v.
If it can't buck the voltage down, he's getting some 32 to 35 watt hits at first!

What device are you using? Some like the IPVD2 don't buck below battery voltage so the hit may be a little harder till the batteries drop a little.

But isn't my Snow Wolf 200w regulated?
From what you stated, what mechanism is making these initial fluctuations?

Just my 2 cents.. my ipv4 hits the same at 45w with atlantis 2, .5 ohm coil, with 100% battery until the last hit before batteries completely die. First thing in the morning, it took a few days to get used to it.
I guess with the rule Train2 has mentioned, if I fire my 0.5 at 45w like you, it will be completely consistent also.
But I fire mine at 30w, which is why I may be having this "issue".

Alright thanks everyone I figured out the problem now. Its not actually a problem, more just the wattage setting I'm using for the fresh charged battery. I used my IPV4 Leah, and fired a freshly charged battery at 30w and still see the initial harder hit for first few hits. 45w is higher than the max voltage on a freshly charged battery (4.2-4.35) so I see why you would see such consistency.
Its really weird because, what about those people running 1.8+ ohm coils firing at 8-15w?

Maybe I am just thinking too much, I should just "go with it".
