Hey I am pretty new to the ecig world. Ive watched some youtube videos and really like what I've seen and heard. I was curious about vapor production because that is a big thing for me with smoking. What parts of the ecig influences vapor production? Ive heard some people talk about the eliquid and vg to pg ratio. That the more vg the more vapor you're going to get. Does the size of the atomizer or how hot an ecigs atomizer get effect vapor production? Also how do differences in an ecigs battery effect vapor? Thank you

Beyond VG adding to the vapor production, voltage plays a large role in it as well. Being new to the ecigs, I would suggest you start off with a 3.1v eGo, or maybe a 3.7v PV.

My first KR808 PV gave out a ton of vapor and my XPOWER is like a freight train with vapor. I have since swtiched my ratio of e juice to satisfy my need for a bigger TH instead of copious amounts of vapor.

While I am sure atty size and temp may play a role in vapor production, from what I have gathered on the forums, adjusting the amount of VG in your juice will proved the most significant change to vapor production.

Low resistance (LR) atty's will give tons of vapor, but they shouldn't be used with the smaller sized batteries, such as a 510. They can shorten the life of a battery. I get tons of vapor using regular and Mega atty's on my eGo with a 50VG/50PG juice mix. I do have some juices that are a 40VG/60PG mix and they also give me tons of vapor.

Thanks for the answers. What is a low resistance atomizer? and can it be used with a high voltage battery? Im sorry, Im not too familiar with the electricity terms. :(. Also do you guys know of anyone are any sites that can customize atomizers and batteries for you and put them together for you?

Low resistance attys require a stronger voltage battery in order to heat them up enough to produce good vapor. Not usually recommended when beginning with ecigs.

As for sites where you can customize - haven't seen anything like that yet. Has anyone else?

Ecig websites are, to my knowledge, run by retailers who order their parts from manufacturers. As ecigs are electronics, with specialized and patented parts, it's unlikely you would find a retailer who could personally customize an ecig for you.

...would be a nice touch though...

Hey I found this graph on another thread. It helped me understand HV and LR Attys better:

I was wondering why can't you have HV and LR attys. It looks like on the graph that the red on the bottom indicates that the heat is too high (too many watts). Is this just an issue of the atty burning out? is there any way to keep attys from burning out so you can increase vapor production even more?
