Question about VG/PG ratios

Hi! I just got me Ego tank monday and have been experimenting with the levels i like for VG/PG...I seem to tolerate and like the 70VG/30PG......is this ratio going to mess up my tank......I tried a higher level of PG, but didn't seem to like that as well .......Should i just make sure it's cleaned well before each refill?

I've had my tank for over a month and use 70pg-30vg or80-20 anything much lower than a 50-50 mix might cause flooding of the atty as vg is much thinner than pg.

Pure vg is thicker than pg. Anything more than 50% vg will cause you wicking problems.

Ty both Ughh.guess i'll have to go to at least 50/50......The higher amounts of PG tasted kind of bitter and made my throat sore...appreciate the help

I've seen where people have used pure vg thinned with distilled water or pga, but I don't have any personal experience doing that.

I am using a 70% 30% vg pg mix and have had no wicking problems so far. I don't like the throat hit I get with too much pg and I also get a chest hit when I use too much pg. But this is just me. I have also used straight vg with no problems. But being a noob myself I have not had too much experience. I have been vaping for about 5 weeks now. Good luck finding your ratio.

Ty arabhorse for your input I want my Ego tank to last for awhile, but i wasn't sure if the ratio would cause problems, but the same thing happened with me......too much PG is just really strong lol

Another thing I do is drop 2 drops of pg on my wick every once in a while. Don't know if it helps, but it can't hurt. Good luck and Happy Vaping.
