I just started mixing my own liquid. I have a question. Can you use flavoring from HEB. I have some maple extract just curious if it will work to mix with.

No. Most flavorings found in grocery stores contain sugar, preservatives, coloring, etc. and are totally unsuitable for DIY.

Flavor Arts, The Flavor Apprentise, Inawara, Hangsen & Capella are some of the more well known flavoring companies for DIY. There are many others as well.

Since you are new to DIY may I suggest some recommended research to get you started. Kudos given to member @dannyv45 who contributed and assembled all this information.

Dannyv45's blogs will give insight into all aspects of DYI, from steeping to what supplies to have on hand to a basic walk through mixing your first E-juice.

Hoosier's blogs concentrate on fine tuning your mix and give insight on additives.
