Hi everyone, I'm new here. I Would have posted this in the sub thread but it won't let me yet. I'm just getting into DIY liquid and I'm trying to figure out how measurements work for VG/PG ratio. I was trying to aim for max VG, but all the flavor extracts I ordered have a PG base. My question is, If your using a VG base nic, but all you flavor extracts contain PG as a base, if I aim for 20% flavor will I end up with a 80/20 VG/PG mix? I'm sure this will vary depending on each individual flavor and vendor but as a general rule I'm just curious.
Any help would be appreciated. :)

Hey Neo, check out this little program its called "E Juice Me Up". It's free and it will give you the exact amounts down to the decimal milliliter measurements of each ingredient. Just plug in the stuff you got, nic, pg, vg, and different flavors, % amounts of each and hit calculate. I use it to mix my juice, works great!
Good Luck

Almost all flavors are pg based. I believe "max vg" is just a vendor's way of describing a mixture that has as much vg as possible despite being only 80/20 or 70/30. You're just not going to get a juice that's 100/0.
Yeah most all my flavors are pg based even the EM and AP I use. 20 per cent flavor generally is a good place to be and I know some vendors who call their 80/20 juice max vg but I'm thinkin they are fudging on that as another vendor's juice at 80/20 not only has a thicker viscosity but blows clouds on it. But mixin your own, you know what you got. :) You can get juice pg free
