Honolulu, Hi
Well, there has been a pretty hefty bump in the road with getting my grand replaced.

The tracking number on my return package informed me that the damaged mod was received two weeks ago Friday. I shot Rob a follow up email the following Monday (IE last week Monday) just to touch base, and he let me know that he sent the replacement mod out that evening. No tracking number, so I assumed he sent it snail mail, which I wasn't about to make a stink over.

Fast forward to earlier this week, and still no sign of the mod in the mail. I emailed Rob asking how he had sent it, to which he replied priority mail (which was a little odd since there was no tracking number, but I trust his word). At this point, i'm almost positive that the package was lost in the mail.

He's told me that if the package doesn't show up today he'll send out another, and i'm really not very hopeful that it'll be here today. Bummer!

I'd be lying if I said i'm anything less than fed up at this point, but i'm thankful that he's really good about replying to emails, and willing to ship out another.

Honolulu, Hi
Well, this nightmare this thankfully over. Mod came in yesterday afternoon. Just barely caught the postwoman too. She was already two houses past mine already when I had gotten home, so I took the pink slip she left on the door and walked over.

Unit's been performing great. Very pleased with it.

Currently using a Volcano brand 1.5 ohm 510 atty on it with some cheapo drip tip I got from primevaping. I've already managed to flood it once or twice, and holy ...., when these things flood, they flood! Popped the drip tip off to check it out and only the very tip of the atty bridge was peeping through a little lake of fluid!

I've noticed that there's a certain amount of fluid that never gets sucked back up from the cup if you do a "visual squonk". I have to be careful to stop JUST as the fluid appears in the breather holes, because the holes don't seem recessed enough to suck absolutely all of it back up. There's always a tiny drip of fluid in there.

Blind squonking never seems to release fluid into the catch cup, but it also seems like its far easier to flood doing it this way. Almost like the drip learning curve, except not as hard to figure out.

Very stoked though. Don't take it to the heart, but to be honest, I always thought you guys were total goons for worshiping these devices like they were the second coming of christ. The whole "reonaut" label, naming your mods, and taking pictures of your "Reo family", all struck me as very lame. But now, I can definitely see why people get so hyped on these mods.

Here's a picture of my lonely Reo with some equipment at work.

Sinkobrother, yes the REO does have a tendency to bring out our inner freak :)

I was the same way on the Marlboro lights threads in the RCF (real cigarette forum), the "Rebuildable bic lighter" thread and was notorious for my "how to maximize phlegm, coughing and loogies" thread. It had like 7000 posts in only like 5 months in. Prolly the most popular, non lounge thread on the RCF.

This is just another place to get your freak on :)

That's a sharp looking REO ya got there bro. Congrats :)

Reo looks great!!!
Definitely get an RM2 though. If the coil building part is standing in your way, drop me a pm and I'd be happy to build you a few micro coils and mail 'em over to you free of charge. Then you'd just have to slip the legs through the holes, tighten the screws, slip a piece of cotton through the center, squonk, then enjoy the best vape of your life!!!
My coils tend to look like this:
