I got my original kit from premium e-cig - it's auto kr8 batteries, usb adapter and wall charger. I bought 2 extra batteries from V4L, and all my cartos are v4L as well. Here's my issue, I have problems sometimes with the cartos not working, i thought it was a battery issue (thought one was dead) I know the batteries are all charged, and i know my cartos are all working, but sometimes I'll put a carto on one battery and it won't work. No vape, doesn't get warm. But i put a different carto on that same battery and it works fine. Or I'll put that same carto on a different battery and it works. What's up? Am I doing something wrong or is this a compatibility issue?

I've noticed that if I crank them on too tight, they lose vapor intensity. Try backing them out a little and see if you get more volume. I suspect it's that there isn't enough air flow if you screw them on the battery too tight. If you try this, and it works, make sure you tighten them up if you are going to stick them in your pocket, because you'll have two separate parts if you don't.

Let me know if this helps...

Another thing to try is to use a small (eyeglass type) flat-head screwdriver to kinda wiggle the center post thingy in the middle of the battery end of the carto out a little. It doesnt take much, but it's almost like it's not out far enough to make contact correctly. You'll just want to pry it up a little a few times, turning the carto after each pry.

Gosh I hope that makes sense...it's hard to explain in words LOL

I have had this same issue with some 808 's All of my 808's are from v4l. Some are old model and some are the new ones. Some old cartos work on the new batts. Some new cartos work on the old batts, etc. but never both all the time. I am sure it is an airflow problem with the slots on the carto and the holes in the batteries. Sometimes if I turn a non working one just right it is possible to get vapor but it is a pain. I don't need that kind of frustration LOL.

I recommended this to someone and got blasted by the people who know more then me LOL.
I was told not to do this with cartos because you can break the atty connection. I will say I have personally done this for another issue (too much air flow) and it worked . Even though I got yelled at for it. I wouldnt recommend other people do it because it can break cartos.

Thanks everyone, at least now I know it isn't just me. I got so frustrated over the weekend on my way home, I bought a pack of analogs. It is a pain, especially when your driving, the battery dies and you go to screw the carto on a new battery and all of the sudden...nothing!!! So, I cleaned off the battery end of the carto and it's working now, so I guess I just need to clean them off better after I fill them.
