Question For the Experts

I have these TC Mods:
Kanger K-Box Mini (75W, 1 battery)
eLeaf TC100W (100W, 2 batteries)
eLeaf TC200W (200W, 3 batteries)
Reuleux RX200 (200W, 3 batteries)
For those not familiar, the eLeaf with two batteries have the batteries in paralell, and will work with one or two batteries. I use two batteries for the increased battery life. The triple battery mods are wired in series.

I was going to try temp control, using a 0.2Ω 316 SS coil. However, if tge voltage and wattage readings are accurate, I don't think I will.
Regardless of the temp setting, the wattage is the maximum rating of the device, and the voltage is higher than I want to run - between 4 and 5 volts. (the batteries are, of course, 3.7 volt, so the battery life would suck in TC mode)

What is the advantage of running Temp Control vs Variable Wattage?
I'm not trying to troll, I really want to know.

I usually run VW, 0.5Ω coils, at 27.5 watts, and around 3.58 volts. The exceptions are a smok TFV4 with a 0.2Ω triple burner coil at 55 watts and 3.32 volts, and a Herakles Plus, 0.4Ω at 55 watts and 4.69 volts, both on the eLeaf TC200W. (I need to find a .02 coil for the Herakles, that will run at a lower voltage, or a 0.5 that will work at 27.5Ω)
At any rate, the multi battery mods are running at 27.5% or less of their rated capacity, the single battery at 36.6%. If nothing else, increased life of the mod?

Simply put, TC is just another way of regulating the output of the mod. It requires a feedback loop which measures the resistance of the coil and calculates and changes the output depending on the measured value.

In VW mode the user sets the desired wattage, the mod measures the resistance of the coil and then calculates the needed voltage to hit the targeted wattage. This is usually not a real time feedback - happening only when the fire button is pressed.

In TC mode with a known base resistance and TCR the mod can calculate the output voltage needed to maintain the set temperature. Some mods can even calculate that sudden rises in temperature are due to a dry coil.

IMHO: in general higher base resistance and higher TCR is preferable over lower resistance and lower TCR values.

from a functionality perspective I find TC to provide a more linear vaping experience vs VW. I've never tested whether or not theres a juice or battery consumption difference but people have claimed this with TC.

Also I find TC to be dummy proof if it is working as intended. I've forgotten to open the JFC a few times and TC has reminded me of this.
