Hello all! I have a dilemma. I vape at 48mg but am limited by the flavors premixed. I'm sitting on a bunch of 36 and 24mg stuff and a bottle of unflavored 60. How do you figure how much 60 to add to say, 36 to bring it up to 48? My algebra is weak.

Any suggestions?

I forgot to mention that Myfreedomsmokes quit making their 555 at 48mg. And I'm almost out. Help!

I think you can just mix the 60mg and 36mg in a 50/50 ratio

half of 60 is 30
half of 36 is 18

Mixing it 50/50 should give you 48mg

Mixing the 60mg with the 24mg in a 50/50 ratio will give you 42mg

(Disclaimer: If you die or mutate into some weird creature after taking my advice, it's your own fault). :)

I have the same problem and god bless at least myfreedomsmokes. The thing that keeps stopping me from mixing the straight higher mg with the flavored lower is that I figure that the flavor is going to drop in half as well? Since I can barely taste the flavors in the first place (except menthol) I'm skeptical about the idea.

There's a current thread / poll for nhaler and opinions whether or not he should offer his HV juice in higher nic strengths (currently, 12mg is the only available). Most people seem to think that a 24mg would be all that is needed. Of course I put my two cents in regarding at least 36mg, if not 48mg. Some of the responses have been just to 'cut' it into a higher nic content but there again, you're going to be 'cutting' the flavor as well. What's the point?

I guess us 'higher nic' users are among a small minority here, I can understand that, however I prefer to take a few hits and put the thing down instead of adapting to a new lifestyle, one which includes an ecig permanently attached to my face.

Hopefully and in time I'll be able to reduce into a more 'mainstream' nic level but until then, thank you to all the suppliers who offer the higher stuff.

You can get flavor doublers... concentrates of the flavors used to make the eliquid.. work out the concentration of nic that you want and use the flavor doublers a little at the time until you get the strength of flavor that you want.

Kno's on to something here :) Here's an online calculator for starting with 60 and getting to 48 by using flavoring and no nic VG or PG:

eJuice Recipe Calculator

Of course if you want to 'use up' your 36 and 24 the other way is good.

another way to figure that:
(60 + 36)/2 = 48.... 1:1 mix
(60 + 24)/2 = 42.... 1:1 mix
(60 + 60 + 24)/3 = 48.... 2:1 mix

Same disclaimer as Deschain ;-)
