i'm looking to do some taste testing on new vendors/juices, and i'm curious what i should try.
i KNOW that we have plenty of threads about top-5 vendors/best juice and such, but i wanted to have something in common with the people voting.

the way i look at it.....if you love a vendor that i hate, then we probably don't have the same tastes. so that's why i'm asking for the opinions of only others that love halo.
so far, out of all the vendors i have tried, i think halo is the best, by far.

so, if you like halo.....what else do you like??

I used to love halo juices

next was Heather's heavenly Vapes (net tobacco's Purity Line) ( at least 2 week steep)
Mom and Pop vaper shop (tobacco haze, pchellas 5 layer RY4) (2 week steep except tobacco haze 1 month steep)
Then I found Ahlusion

Smooth criminal is my number 1 tobacco after 6-8 weeks steep

I mention steep time because halo is presteeped so it took me a little time to understand the other juices need some time to come together
Boba tea after 2 week steep

many others with ahlusion but these 2 are must tries

I have a Halo Triton so of course I tried Halo juices first and they are all good, but of course some are better to my taste than others.

I always have Kringle's Curse, Southern Classic, Malibu, Twisted Java, and Voodoo on hand.

Tried between 15-19 different vendors so far and by far my fav (and I probably sound like a broken record at this point) is Tasty Vapor.

They have decent prices and I have really liked everything I have ordered from them.

Tired of trying different vendors and getting crap that I just had to throw away because no amount of steeping made it any better.

I also order from Kick Bass Vapor and though some need a little steeping, the ones I have received took just a week to really come together, as opposed to months like some of the others.

Tasty Vapor is great right out of the box and a few of the flavor I like are: Butter Rum, Banana Cream Pie, Caramel Corn, Lemon Poundcake, and Ultimate Vanilla.

Kick Bass has a fantastic Hummingbird Nectar and Pebble Path(Rocky Road) is really good too.

Best of luck on your juice quest, it can be quite frustrating at times.

There are not many juices I like. I fell in love with Halo's Twisted Java when I tried it at a B&M yesterday. Kind of like an Andes mint.
I typically like vanilla, vanilla custards, and coffee blends. Nicoticket's Frenilla, Custard's Last Stand, and Creme Brulee are superior to any other vendors I have tried.
All About Vapor is a B&M in my area, and they have an online store. My 2 favorites with them is Austin Heat (a cinnamon blend that makes Gremlin Juice's Red Gremlin taste bland by comparison) and a coffee blend called Steampunk.

Tribeca didn't do it for me at all.. way to forward and aromatic, don't hate it.. just not fond of it.

Voodoo is just a bit too fruity and confuses my taste buds... lol (old folks get confused easily :p )

On the other hand Torque I am very fond of.. and I add a bit of Sub-Zero to it, to make it a bit more refreshing.

Halo does a good job overall, but as with all juices.. some, one person loves and another just can't stand. There are just so many variables, that juice reviews really are nearly useless. Yes, finding someone with a taste close to yours may be a help, but there will still be disagreements on qualities liked/dis-liked.

I actually liked a few Halo juices (Tribeca, Prime15), while I hated others (Torque, Freedom).

For something similar to Tribeca I would suggest BWB's Virginia. For Prime15, BWB's Casablanca. Have you tried them by any chance?

bwb is one of the eliquid towards the top of my "to try" list. i'm actualy planning on buying some, because i saw they are having a cyber monday sale.

Halo is my main supplier. I have and vape all of their juices, in rotation, except for the 2 coffee flavors. Alice In Vapeland is also my go to supplier. Their juices are completely different than Halo- more non traditional flavors, but as high a quality and consistency. Just been getting into ProVape juices, as well.

You're in luck, for if you like Halo Prime 15, there's a good chance you'll like Hangsen's Highway. The 10 mL prices at Caterpillar vapes are only $2.99 with $2.99 shipping.

And/or, you may want to try Vaporstation. For liquids related to Prime 15, try Frisco at Vaporstation (or maybe even Tampa). You MAY also find luck in the case of eVo liquids as one of the retailers told me personally in a phone conversation that eVo is an offshoot of Halo. I don't exactly know that to be true, but that's the word on the "street" (in various ecig forums; look up Halo/eVo eliquid). For a similar liquid to Halo Prime 15, try eVo's Timber.

Aside from eVo being suspected to be a proxy of Halo, I'd say that Vaporstation would be a decent choice (go here two get two free bottles of Vaporstation: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor-station/329822-free-liquid-samples-first-timers.html), and a couple flavors from Hangsen (Highway and RY4). Even after saying that, one of the things that has kept Halo on top of the liquid game for years now (Halo is one of the biggest selling liquid vendor's in the world) is that for the most part, what they do is very unique to them. Whether people like them or not is different.

Well I would tell you to try out ahlusion. I think that I can taste a similarity with gold rising and tribecca. Maybe its just me.

Ha, you are more correct than your realize. But Ahlusion's flavors in GR are much more pronounced (can be a good or bad thing); but yes, similar profiles most def. I don't necessarily know that appreciation with one will necessitate the same fondness for the other, but the two can surely be paired for a head-to-head match up.

With that being said I think I will have to stick to my "non wearable" flavors....long story folks!! I knew I tasted "something".

Well, the only fact we have is that they are made in the same LAB. But from most of the reviews I've seen, there isn't the complexity with EVO as there is with HALO. One could say that Goodejuice's LAB MADE line could be from the same lab as well, since there is more than a passing resemblance to many of the flavors, like High Octane vs Torque56. I have been tempted to try the maraschino cherry tobacco -- just sounds tasty ;)

I don't think Nick would be too upset at me saying this, but their Lab made juices (some of them) are in fact Halo clones. Great point though, I completely forgot about GeJ. I should've mentioned that eVo is not known for the complexity that Halo is, but the bases are, from most accounts, very similar with several of the liquids. Once again, I completely forgot about GeJ.

The comparison to eVo and Halo are not solely based on taste, but it has to do with parent companies and such.

I have tried many vendors. Most of them would be considered premium juices. Halo juices have an intense flavor profile and throat hit that I haven't found matched by anyone else. Most others, while often being quite good, pale in comparison when it comes to the intensity, uniqueness, and overall satisfying qualities of the vaping experience offered by Halo. I didn't start out with Halo but since I started using their tobacco line I quickly fell out of love with my old favorites. Tribeca and Torque56 are without equal.
