thailand, I think the battery you asked about is called the innokin VV3. It's a good battery. I'll post a picture in a bit.

r77r7r, that was exactly the one i was looking at, but I don't think it would give me the increase in vape that i'm looking for. My last battery was a vision spinner. Broke it unfortunately doing the rear brakes on my car...crushed it in half...haha.

I saw the 30w istick at my store for 54.99. Is that a good price? I know I could probably save a few bucks going online, but I'll have it that day, and patience is not one of my best virtues...even though i'm Buddhist!!! I currently have a 50 dollar credit, so I can handle 5 extra bucks! The tank will be extra, obviously...any recommendations on that? Are there ones I should avoid?

Thanks again everyone. I am sorry I'm not utilizing the "Search" feature, but i'm still learning a lot of the basic acronyms, and all your answers are helping me learn. :)

Ah, the vision spinner went from 3.3 to 4.8. Not a huge spectrum, but introduced me to variable voltage, and its effect with different ohm coils. I'll do some more research on prices, but one other thing I notices was that the iStick 50w was 54.99 also...maybe i'll go with the higher voltage spectrum at the same price.
Thanks for the heads-up on the pricing, looks like I have some more research to do.

Thanks for the advice cindycated. I did some research, and did see that there are some issues with them. That, along with the fact that my ecig shop is selling them for 54.99, which I realized is a bit too expensive, I went with another option.
I have been a big fan of Kangor products and decided to go with a Subox. The black and red looks sharp and I think it goes to 60w. I got the whole kit for 60 bucks, shipped. Can't wait...but then I'm sure I'll have questions about the best ohm/wattage/voltage combos. I also like the fact I can remove the battery on the Subox.

The iStick is on my radar as well. I'll probably get one to have a spare from an online site, where the prices are much better. Now my next step is to get my girlfriend off the analogs by giving her my eVod set.

Thanks again and happy vaping!! You guys and gals are awesome!!

Just find an ejuice of her favorite dessert. :p Works especially well if she's trying to cut down. I got off smoking with V2 menthol from the first hit, but when I started vaping desserts and losing all that excess weight, that pretty much sealed the deal for me. Have fun with the Subox. So jelly that you're getting yours before I get mine!

cindycated, that's exactly the route i'm taking. Something that tastes like chocolate covered cherries. or her favorite cereal.

Seems like you and I took the same path. As soon as my v2 kit came in, I stopped smoking analogs and gave away my last pack of menthols. I still have 5 batteries and a charger i was thinking of selling.
My Subox is scheduled to be delivered on Monday (lol). All i'll need then is a couple of batteries, a charger, and new juice for the increased vape.

    Heyyyyy

The link I posted on page 1 is for a shop in Philadelphia selling the iStick for $38. The subox is a better product though, just pricier. The tank it comes with is debatably #1 in the prebuilt coil market.

    Hey dom qp,
Yup, that store is in south philly, very close to the shooting range I go to. Not too far, about 25 minutes away from me, although i've been spoiled having a store at the end of my block, albeit very expensive.
I might start going to that store for my equipment, since the prices are much better, and go to the store up the street for juices and small things.
I really do appreciate the research you did though. The fact that they are about 40-50% cheaper than the one up the street really shows me that there is a huge price gap in ecig mods. I couldn't believe the iStick 50w was 64.99, and the one you found was 38 bucks...

I do the same. I go across town for batteries, kanthal, cotton, and atomizers. I go to the closer one for juice. Pain in the ... that there isn't something close to standard pricing yet - too many people just buy without researching.

Good advice again, I mean, he or she could get the Istick 30w and use a Nautilus mini, with the option to upgrade to a subtank Mini without needing to buy another mod.

4 Subtank Minis, ah you beat me then on that one, I've been using the Starre tank recently with the Segelei 100w and I thought it would of been to much for me but I absolutely love it, I have pre-ordered the pro version now and should receive my SnowWolf box mod today, you'll probably see a thread go up in the discussion forum about it, I only bought it as I'm yet to try out the temp controlled coils and I've heard members say it stops dry hits. Really nice to chat with you today, going back on topic, I still use my Nautilus Mini when I'm out, bought the caged tank for it, it's also the tank I always recommend to ex smokers who prefer mouth to lung, I have stopped 13 people from smoking in my neighbourhood with that tank, a few have been bitten by the bug and our now enjoying flavour chasing and blowing clouds with sub ohms, talking of flavour, Im vaping "The Milkman" max vg and ohhh yes, it soooo good :thumb:
Where did you pre-order the Freemax Pro?

I live in the UK so ordered mine from ecig one website where I order most of my vaping goodies..
Ah ok. I haven't found a place in the US yet that is accepting pre-orders. Only see coming soon with either no price or the price is set to one penny with no ability to add to the shopping cart.

Thats ashame but they will be in stock here at the end of this month so hopefully it won't be too long for you. I can't wait to get mine, I'll put a thread up when it arrives.

Prices at your local vape shop will never be as close to what you can get online. Expect $45-$55. Definately hold it. I know it will take some getting used to, but once you have it for a week, you will learn to like it.

As far as the top part (atomizer), I personally like the Subtank, but I do not think it will fit your needs. I think the Nautilus might be a better choice. They both are good tanks. The Nautilus is designed for lighter type vapor, good flavor. The subtank is designed for heavier vapor. The other reason I like the subtank, is it comes with a RBA section, so if you want to try rebuilding a coil, you have that option.

I like the idea of top file (I also have pre-ordered an Aspire Triton) and the fact that it has nickel coils.

Most Def, the Triton looks interesting, I only ordered the Starre Pro for the temp control and top fill but the reason I stuck with Freemax is their coils are the best prebuilt coils I have ever used. The are just fantastic in every way.

I've heard great things about the Freemax and was thinking about getting one. Now that the Pro will have nickel coils available, then that just clinches my decision for me.
