I am new to this site, but hope to get some advice from others.
I just received my Aspire nautilus in the mail today. I love the amount of vapor I'm getting, and feel fairly confident that it will last for quite awhile, however it does seem a bit large and I ordered the wrong replacement coils for it.

Does the Nautilus Mini give the same amount of vapor and flavor as the full size one? The coils I got on accident are for the Mini and I hate the process of trying to return things through the mail.

There should be a 1.6 and a 1.8 ohm head included in the box. Depending on when the Nautilus atomizer box was packed they could be BDC (bottom dual coil) or BVC (bottom vertical coil) heads. Both should be fine and will look slightly different. BVC is the coil to have. It's version 2 and is getting rave reviews. I've also heard that version 3 is soon to be out.

The Mini coils are interchangeable with the standard Nautilus. They may look different, but that would be because one could be BDC and the other BVC. Try them to see if they screw into the socket.

When you change a coil head the instructions say to install it and give it time to soak up some liquid and prime itself. That's important, but you can put a few drops in it before you install it and speed up the soak time. Don't overdo it, just wet the visible blanket and wicking and make sure to get some juice in the center hole. If you get gurgling, just turn up the voltage and vape a few times to vaporize the extra juice, then turn it back down.

Wicking is controlled by turning the air ring. Large holes let in more air, but create less vacuum. Juice feeds to the wick when you draw on it and vape. Thick juices require smaller air holes for more vacuum. Thin juices need more air for less vacuum.

I seem to prefer my Nautilus mini, but I have the BDC coil in my regular Nautilus and the BVC coil in my mini until I can go through all my BDC coils. I also have different juices in them, and the one I currently have in my regular Nautilus was aired way too long (newbie mistake). In theory, you should be able to get the same experience out of both. My experience so far has been that the smaller Aspire tanks in general seem to give better performance.

It depends who you ask, some say they get better flavor out of the mini some like me say they get the same flavor and vapor production. The coils as mentioned are interchangeable between the mini and the 5ml. tank.

The 5ml tank is great for those that vape more than the smaller tanks will hold and that don't want to carry around extra bottles of e-liquid with them like me.

I use the stainless steel caged tank instead of the stock 5ml tank for more durability in case I bump into something with it in my front pocket or if I drop my PV to the ground. It was only about $9.99 for the caged tank and I'm sure it's saved the tank with how many times I've dropped it already.
