Hello all! I'm new to the boards and new to the E-Cig thing. I purchased a starter kit from electronic cigarettes inc, I purchased the "Vapor King". So far I guess I'm pleased with it but it seems like I really need to puff on this thing to get vapor to come out, plus the battery life is terrible. I should've done more research before buying. My question is - is the Vapor King a good model? What would be considered the best E-cig on the market? I'm looking for something that has a lot of vapor and is as close to the real thing as possible. Im willing to purchase another brand if it's going to deliver what is actually advertized. Thanks for helping a new-b.

the Joye 510 has been a dream to me, it got me off anologs, it has worked for my hubby. It has been the least complicated to use.

cignot.com is where i get my stuff from

yeah, I got the 510 too. Analog free for over a week now. I smoked for 25+ years (first cigarette when I was 8 years old) and I'm vaping 24mg juice.

Oh, and WELCOME!

I'm not completely familiar with the Vapor King, but after spending a few minutes on their website, the ecig looks to be a re-branded joye510 or even a clone of it (their accessories actually had the joye510 label on them). If this is the case, your ecig is a good one - once you get adjusted to it. When starting out there is going to be a learning curve in order to get the ecig to perform its best.

Try taking long, easy draws on the ecig - some say it helps to pretend it is a straw. If you draw on it like a traditional cigarette, it won't perform like it should (my friends who have tried mine do not get a lot of vapor at first).

If it has the manual button, press the button before taking a draw to give the liquid time to heat up. On the other hand, if it is an automatic battery, take a few quick "primer puffs" to get the juice heated.

Sometimes if you aren't getting much vapor, the attomizer could be flooded with too much juice. There are many things that contribute to poor vapor. It just takes a bit to understand how the ecig works.

Take a look at a few of these links for tips and more information on the ecig.

Welcome ShopDawg! I'm new too, and still figuring things out. Let me ask you this:

Did you buy THE Vapor King (a somewhat tweaked KR808D-1) or did you buy an e-cig from the Vapor King website? The Vapor King website, oddly enough, does not sell the Vapor King model e-cig. I have a Vapor King (the tweaked KR808D-1) that I purchased from Vapor 4 Life (V4L) and am quite pleased with it and the vapor it produces. The amount of vapor you are getting is somewhat related to what type of juice or pre-filled carts you are using, as well as the model of e-cig you're using. As I've learned both here and through my own trial and error, PG based juices tend to produce more flavor, while VG based juices tend to produce more vapor. For me, an 80/20 or 70/30 mixture of the two gets me what I want pretty consistently. If you could perhaps provide some more details on exactly what you've purchased, we might be able to assist you more.

Thanks for the feedback!! this is exactly what I purchased - see attached

Is this a 510?? Not even sure what that number refers to. I just want to make sure that what I have is decent quality - I know I overpaid - $95 for a double kit that included 5 refil carts and a bottle if nicotine. I'm certainly willing to buy this Joye 510 that I keep hearing about if it's a big improvement over what I currently have.

Jax gave me some great tips about priming it - this seemed to help. I think a major downside is that I bought the auto version instead of the push button.

I looked on the ECig Inc. website and I am fairly sure that what you have is a 510. The atomizers are identical to my 510's.

Depending on how much you want to spend, you might consider looking into a battery mod or at least a longer life battery. Cignot has some manual extended life batteries for the 510.

On second look, I'm almost positive you have a 510 right now, just a little on the pricey side because of the commercial branding. Check out Litecigusa.net, cignot.com, or rockymountainvapor.com for spare parts. Batteries will run around 10-11 bucks, atomizers are around 7-8 bucks, and juice will be about 4-6 bucks for a 10ml bottle.
