I'm on week 4 with my eGo, still getting a feel for it, so apologies for the n00b topic...

When filling cartos, I once read that you should carefully just drip down the inside edges of the carto, avoiding getting juice into the central airway, which I used to do. Just lately I've taken to "topping off" my cartos at the first hint of flavor loss. When I do this, I don't even remove the carto from the battery. I just stand the eGo on end and drip straight down into the carto.

My question is: will this method cause the juice to flow straight down the central airway of the carto and onto the battery? I do seem to be finding more juice than usual on the battery, but I also just switched to 90% PG (started on 50/50) so I'm not sure which is the reason (the PG or the topping off method).

There should be no need to drip juice into a carto. There should be no need to top off a carto.

In my experience you'll definitely end up with some juice in the tube and on the battery. If it's the way you like to top off, then you may want to remove the carto and blow through the mouthpiece onto a tissue, especially if the draw gets tight or there's any gurgling. I still use the method you initially described, just using a drip tip so it can be popped off and filled in a few seconds. Keep 'em wet and they last a long time!

That's da way. Be sure to tilt and rotate the carto so the joose doesn't enter the center tube.

Just tip the assembly and do as ya did before.

YES!

Don't drip it straight down the center tube...you'll just lose juice. Tilt and drip around, I put a few drops in several spots and then check the bottom to see if it runs thru but pretty much have it down now by watching the filling absorb and not put too much juice in it...I hate havimg to waste tons of tissues to wipe the bottom off! What a pain! You'll get it, just takes practice! :)

I don't use the white cap I use a drip tip so what I do it remove the drip tip then drip how ever you want to just get lots in there then I put the drip tip back on and blow the battery end over the open juice bottle to recover the excess . I don't blow too hard just until I get a steady flow of air with no gurgle . Letting it sit on it's side after filling will absorb a bit more but there is still some to blow out just less . To leave on a battery you have to avoid the centre hole and take your time to allow it to absorb and not get juice as high as the centre tube . Chances are you might get gurgling so you end up removing it to blow out anyway .
