So I got confirmation that my Sentinal M16 and Patriot rda arrived today, but have to wait till 4 due to work. My question is I have read somewhere that I should not use my AW IMR 18350 if using sub ohm dual coil. My coils are between .7-1.6 and really don't go below .7, I really want to use the m16 in 18350 and 18500 mode most of the time, will only use 18650 when at home. So is there any truth to that. Thanks all.

There is a chart somewhere in one of the threads here that shows the AW IMR 18350 is safe to use down to .5Ω... You should be ok with the range you are vaping, as long as its AW brand...
Ehhh... that might be taunting an angry bull there. An AW IMR 18350 has a 6 amp limit. At 4.2 volts (the preferred estimate when calculating how low you can go) a 0.7 ohm coil is drawing 6 amps. That means 0.5 ohms (which is drawing ~8.4 amps) could potentially blow a fully charged 18350. And if I recall correctly, dual coils are a bit more stressful to batteries than single coils.
I try not to use 18350's for anything below 1 ohm. When I've got a 0.7 dual coil on my Helios (I also don't go much below that), I stick with 18500's. It's not worth the risk.
Ok. So to be safe I will not use the 18350 on builds lower than 1ohm. How about the 18490, I have seen different limits listed on various sites. Like I said I never go below .7 so I should be ok with the 18490's. Also picked up an efest 18650 1600 mah, witch I think is 30 amp. Having trouble finding a reliable chart for amp limits on these batts. Thanks again for the reply.
Yeah, I meant to type 18490 in my last post... Haha. They will be fine with 0.7 ohms. I've seen different limits too for 18490. I've seen 10, and I've seen about 16. If it has a C rating of 10, it should be about 16.
