I've read, especially about BWB, a lot of people talking about steeping and 'born on' dates. Steeping implies, to me at least, that there is a soluble ingredient you hope to more fully dissolve or a separate from another medium. In a few posts I see references to leaving bottles uncapped so alcohol from flavoring can evaporate. At least one person said the BWB gets better consistently w/ time and they don't touch it within thirty days of make. All this gets me questioning.

- I have assumed that the nicotine levels are consistent regardless of any reasonable time. I assumed the steeping had to do with flavoring but I never actually confirmed this. Is this a reasonable assumption?

- Is there a recommended routine and temperature of storage to accommodate this steeping? Homebrew beer days come to mind.

Just curious while I'm well early in the learning curve. Cheers, -Magnus

I don't steep BWB. But they are a mix of flavorings from many sources as well as flavors hand-extracted by the owner and it can take a while for those flavors to fully blend. In addition the flow of BWB is very nice so it may have some water or alcohol. the juice does seen to darken over time. but I never steep. But some juices darken and get even better over time. Some people buy ahead so they always have bottle sitting unused and are always vaping old bottles. I am not that much of a connoisseur. BWB always tastes good when I get it. Some people want great.

By contrast, I have gotten juices from some other vendors that needed airing and steeping and were very perfumey/flowery.
