I've seen/read a number of threads/websites on this subject...but most all say different things. After just placing my first order on Monday for 5 different flavors of tobacco (which, by the way, should be delivered today! YAY! ) and seeing where most sites say that the tobacco flavors usually need to steep the longest..but which advice should one use...The one where it says to uncap the bottle and put in a cool dark place, like a cabinet...or the one that says to just toss in a drawer for a few days?? I'm assuming by "tossing in a drawer" they were meaning with Cap on, Right?

Also, some sites say you should, if going by the way of cabinet, to put cap back on every once in awhile and shake it good, then put back in cabinet...but if you do that, after shaking, do you remove the cap again? Should you shake the bottle everyday?

Where do y'all steep yours at...like in a kitchen cabinet? I also read you should never steep two different flavors close together with the caps off as it may make the flavors mix...if that's the case...do you all have juices just all over your house steeping...don't you worry about forgetting that they are there, say in your kitchen cabinet, and knocking them over?

I try everything directly out of the mailbox without steeping. If I don't like it right away I put it in my closet where I have a little organizer specifically for my vaping supplies. I do sometimes take the caps and drippers off, let them sit for a couple of days, then put the cap back on and shake, then try it again, if it still needs more time repeat the process. Usually though if I don't like a juice straight away no amount of steeping is going to help. You can also speed up the process by giving your juice a hot water bath. Run some hot tap water into a cup, put in your juice bottle (cap on), shake from time to time, when the water gets to room temperature your juice will have steeped (some say) the equivalent of one week. I personally only do the hot water bath with my DIY juices as, I feel it helps all the ingredients mix faster.

Hi, first off I must say you've thought about it way more than I have!!!! Of course 3 weeks later I am still living out of USPS boxes....figures. My Copper Creek House Blend, which is my favorite, steeped while I used(using) it. It's going to steep no matter what you do, now which way is better.....got me. I will make sure I check back on this thread to see if I am missing something. Good Luck

That is about what I do. I try all of my juices with a dripping atty as soon as I get them. If I get a chemical or alchohol taste, I will take the tops off of the bottles and let them stand an hour or so, then put the tops back on and put them in the cabniet. Otherwise, if I think they need to steep, I will just leave the bottles in my cabniet for a week or so and resample them.

Cap on.
Shake daily.
Out of direct sunlight.
Most need a week of steeping others 2 weeks. It's tough in the beginning because you don't have enough of a stock to let the juices do their thing.

Bobas and Gorilla are almost ready to go from the start. House needs a week to lose it's peppery inhale. Casablanca needs a two week steep from born on date. It varies from liquid to liquid and vendor to vendor. Once you have a nice supply you'll be able to set aside new liquids to steep regardless if they need it..
