question on tanks

Hi

just wondering the about the difference on tanks.

I hear talks of tank x produces better flavour than tank y and was wondering why the difference?

If tank x and tank y both have the same coil resistance on the same battery running at the same wattage/ voltage, i would think that it would produce the same.

I know that the air flow is the variable but not sure how that alone would produce more flavour

Different ways the coils and wicks are done. different air flows, etc.

Yeah different chamber size makes a big difference, I've found that reduced airflow tends to amplify flavors. RTA's with smaller chimneys tend to kick out far more flavor than those with big gaping chimneys.

Basically what Swordsbeer said. The wicking, coils, and airflow all affect how it works.

usually it's just first impressions and not really paying attention to such details.
You'd really have to use a tank for a week or few to compare flavour.

The real things to look for with tanks are things like:
1: how to refill
2: how to clean
3: how to change coil
4: leaking
5: airflow
6: glass
7: stainless steel.
8: availability of replacement and/or custom/modified parts
