Question on the 30 ml bottles

I just opened a new bottle of Mystic last night and since I only had my small light on at my desk I got a better look at the liquid level of the bottle. It seems that Halo doesn't even come close to filling the bottle. I don't understand this. As you can see from the photo, it's still sealed. Is this normal practice? Are the bottles actually larger than 30 mls? Also the dropper doesn't go all the way to the bottom so I was wondering what the best way is to get all the liquid out and not waste any.

I actually know some companies over fill their bottles. That's bad customer service IMO

When the dropper does not get to the lower section fluid level, I transfer it to a smaller bottle that has a drip tip.

keep in mind, bottles are probably filled by a machine on an assembly line. so it may be an error on their line.

The bottles in truth do hold slightly more than 30ml (otherwise they'd be overfilled all the time), they're rated at 30ml based on weight. your's does look kinda low for a new bottle though. although the dropper not going all the way to the bottom seems to indicate the bottle may be larger than usual. these aren't custom made bottles, i imagine Halo buys them from a supplier that a lot of other vendors use.

i'd contact Halo customer service with the picture and maybe PM Cinder Ella here to see if they can help out or get you some answers.

the eye dropper is full, if you turn the bottle upside down and squeeze out the liquid in the eye dropper, it would probably look normal level.

Ha, my exact thought as well. Halo wouldn't be the big seller by short-changing a 30ml.

And you can get almost all of the liquid out with the dropper by tipping it. I usually just pour the last bit into my next tank.

If you are really concerned, I'd call Halo customer service.

I did contact their CS and sent the photo along with a question about the bottle sizes and the amount of liquid in the bottle. They saw the photo and replied back -

Dear Cori,
Thank you for contacting us. We apologize that your bottle came short of liquid. This is not standard. Thank you for providing me with the picture. Is the bottle in the picture the mystic flavor?

I haven't heard back since then but it sounds like this is not normal.

Heard back from them today. They are sending me a replacement bottle of the Mystic. I really didn't expect that! I would have been just fine with a bottle the size of the Malibu free promo filled with the Mystic. It seems like that was all that was missing from the bottle. I am very pleased with Halo's CS. I always buy the 30 ml bottles of Tribeca, Menthol X and now Mystic. I am sorry to say that I couldn't really get into the Belgian Cocoa. It just wasn't hitting for me. I also do like the Malibu. It does taste like a Pina Colada! The Menthol X tastes like they put Tribeca with a menthol blend. It is my favorite! I was a menthol smoker and this is so much better!

Today in the mail was a new 30 ml bottle of Mystic that was filled to the top of where the bottle curves in. Hope that makes sense. I am very surprised and very happy that Halo did this for me! I will check the 2 bottles of Menthol X that should come this week, but I have a feeling that this was just a fluke! The bottles of Menthol X and Tribeca that I have ordered in the past have been just fine.
