Do I have to use the resistor in a 3.7 box mod I am building. I was hoping there would be enough resistance in the Atty to keep the LED from blowing but at the same time keep as much voltage flowing.
Yeah, still need a resistor.. You want the led to run parallel to the atty circuit as it can't handle the current if you put it in series with the atty..
I will have to post pics later but i had already drilled, epoxied everything in with the LED set for a series set up. Plus its been a while since I have done electronics I understand parallel and series in theory but when it comes to the aplication I draw a blank sometimes. I will be ok though it just requires me to think and it hurts, it hurts
Got it finished. Its not pretty but the atty functions and the Led does as well. Having to wait on the epoxy on the atty to harden before I can really use but the few test vapes work good. Thanks to madvapes for all the parts.
