Ok guys. I want to try my hand at a few recipes. They are supposed to taste like certain juices for example I have a recipe here for Mothers Milk. It calls for the use of all The Flavor Apprentice flavorings. I can get some of them but not all HOWEVER between Loranns, Cap, Flavor Art and Flavor West I can get them all and this is the case for every recipe I want to try. Would using a DIFFERENT BRAND of the SAME FLAVOR cause the end product to be funky or would it be ok? Thanks a lot guys. I am excited!!

Well...that sucks. Maybe I wont clone anything then, just work with what I have and look at the non clone recipes here.

I'd say go ahead and try, just be prepared to adjust percents a little. Who knows, you might like the flavors you have better. I've noticed that in a lot of the 'clone' threads, some folks come up with recipes they like better than the original. Just stick to small batches (3ml) starting out.

Start off with small batches (like around 3ml). That way it doesn't take forever to vape it, or if it's really bad, not a financial disaster if you dump it and start over. This allows you to play around and tweak the recipe until you nail it down to your own tastes. Don't forget to annotate your changes, or you may come up with that perfect recipe and forget what you did to get there.

Yes...I can just make a 3ml batch and if I like it make up a 120-240 so I dont waste. Thank you so much I had it stuck in my head I was going to make min 30ml bottles so I didnt even consider making a little bottle to drip test. Thanks!

I did some math and I pay $50 for 120ml right now. I have it calculated that I could get about 20 30ml flavors and 3780ml of VG for less then $200. I think that amount of flavorings could do 30 120-ml bottles (I worked it out roughly). So I can make 30 120ml bottles of WHATEVER juice I WANT for the price of 4. Thats nut, I cant refuse those savings.
