T3S/MT3S heads can be used in any Kanger BCC tank, PT/PT2/Mini PT/Mini PT2. With the T3S base, can be used in older T3 tanks. Protank and Evod heads, can not be used in a T3/T3S tank system. Only difference in the three types of heads, the T3S head in narrower by a couple micro-meters at the bottom flange of the head that seats flush on the base. So yes, it is compatable with the Protanks. Regarding the flavor wicks, if you getting dry burns, remove one wick, test it out, still getting dry burns, remove the next one, depending on the viscocity of your liquid (PG/VG ratio, higher VG will need flavor wicks removed).

Thanks! Just ordered my coil heads!

My preferred local shop is only stocking the T3s coils. I can see the rationale, as they will always have a coil that will work with any of the Kanger models they sell.

I actually prefer the T3s heads in my protanks. The narrower flange (according to my theory) lets a little more juice get under the wick tips so that they are being saturated from all sides- better wicking. I also have not experienced any leaks. I like this set up especially in the Protank 2
