Question Regarding Newer Edition Wall Chargers

About a month or so ago my 10-11 month old wall charger from when I first started vaping stopped working. I purchased the newer version wall charger (the one with the V4L logo on it) (previous one had no logo) and it seems like I have to screw the battery on really tight to get it to activate the charger. Is this common place with the newer edition chargers? Just wondering because my older style charger required almost no force to initiate its charging cycle. It's working, however, I want to make sure I am not doing any type of damage to my batteries by force screwing them on.

Kimmy - all I have are the new chargers and I don't have that problem except for one manual battery. It may just be a specific battery or two - other than that I've had no problems

I haven't had trouble with them either. You might have a bad unit there

I had that problem with only one battery. The problem was a burr on the shell of the battery itself, not the threads. I used a nail file on it and the problem went byebye.

Thanks for everyones responses. Looks like on my order later on today I'll just put it in the comment section. It's not just one battery, it's all of them. Just wanted to check and see if this was the norm.
